Called. Made appt. Told them my dog needed an abdominal centesis. Went in next day. Left my dog for 1 hr. They took real good care of my old girl. I called absolutely frantic and upset because our cat got mauled by 5 dogs and her response was, "I'm not open on Sunday". Click. I am not giving her a poor review because she wasn't open but she could have at least referred me to someone who could help or ask me a few questions about the condition of our pet before hanging up. Like, "how much blood is he bleeding" or "is your pet conscious" and then giving us advice as to whether we needed a professional. So disappointed that as veterinarian, she didn't have the decency to even help us over the phone. read more

We were visiting in the area when we had a medical issue arise with one of our dogs. We called Dr. Connelly late on a Saturday afternoon after our dog peed blood. Trust me, if your dog pees and it looks like a crime scene, you're going to start calling around looking for a vet. She answered the phone and gathered the specifics. She told us to get a urine sample and call her back. We did and she gave us directions despite it being after hours. Her practice is west of town along Hwy 2. Look for the big silos - she's across the street. She examined our girl and decided she had a bad urinary tract infection. She gave us antibiotics and told us to call back in a couple days if she wasn't doing better - which thankfully we didn't have to do. We really appreciated her care and compassion. She got our fragile diabetic dog back to her happy bouncy self again. I'm not sure what her normal rates are but we were also pleasantly surprised at how little she changed for an after hours emergency visit. We would have been paying hundreds more for a vet visit like this back in Oregon. Thank you Dr. Ethel Connelly for patching our girl up and making her healthy again! read more
