If you are looking to spend a few thousand dollars for a website that doesn't meet your expectations, and you don't value customer service then Localtek will fit the bill. Countless emails never returned. Typically have to call or email 3 or 4 times before you are even acknowledged.....days or a week or two later. Was told it would be up and running within 4-6 weeks at the latest. 4 months later still not fully functioning and some issues not addressed. Spent almost $2,000 to have them tell me I could only pick from a web template site that clearly was selling the exact template for like $69. Then they spend weeks simply adding your content to the template, which I could have done for free. In the end, we ended up spending our own time making the site managable, but were absolutely apalled at the lack of customer appreciation or service. They clearly don't take the business seriously. And I have a slew of documentation to back up my claims. I am not a basher. I am a concerned consumer who was seriously cheated out of $2,000 and received little, if nothing, in return from them in the way of value. I am simply trying to warn others from suffering the same fate. We are already exploring an entirely new website solution and a completely new site, and doing it all over again at our additional expense. All within less than 6 months of shelling out thousands to Localtek.
