However, the appointment was only supposed to be for a couple of hours. I ended up being there 5... I had to run as soon as she finished to get home to my kids. When she turned me around, I noticed my bangs were shorter than I asked for, which I know can just be due to how they were styled. I figured that I would wash my hair and style it myself when I got home... and then the horror set in. My bangs were completely uneven, and there was a significant line through my bangs from where texture shears were used. My hair is dark brown, which makes it extremely noticeable. Unfortunately, that is not all. My hair was completely uneven, and the layers were chopped and not blended whatsoever. I spent the entire night crying. I have worked extremely hard for years to get my hair to where it is. I was already worried about trying a new salon, but they had good reviews, so I figured I was worrying about nothing. I had to go to a different salon on Monday to get the "layers" blended, and my bangs evened out. They did all they could, but unfortunately, only so much could be done because of how choppy everything was. I'm going to have to let it grow out. The tone color is what I wanted, but I also realized when I got home that it was a cheap product you can buy at Sally's. I used to dye my hair with box dye years ago, so I know the smell and the feeling your hair has afterward. Overall, it was a waste of 5 hours and money. The stares I got as she cut and finished my hair, and as I paid, were embarrassing. I wish the other employee who kept coming over to look at my hair had said something.
