The inside has bar seats, a small lounge area, and a high long table. Did I mention they also sell a bunch of wines, snacks, and more? They have events too, so I will have to check those out.

I found reasonably priced metered parking right outside. There's also a nearby garage. Demi was a pleasure to chat with and learn more about this business. I liked the self-serve option for tasting and/or a full glass. I was impressed with the selection of wines. My fave was the Castella D'Alba (a red blend from Portugal). Everything is better with wine...we were able to snag a noon reservation which allowed for 3 hours. They welcomed us with a perfect welcome drink, a glass of their Blanc de Blanc which was the perfect choice for me...I love bubbles. Our waitress was attentive and made our experience just that much more enjoyable. I appreciated her allowing us to sample a few wines vs ordering a flight. We ended up going with a bottle of the Blanc de Blanc. We also shared the tomato focaccia, goddess salad and a charcuterie plate. For dessert we tried their chocolate cake and the sorbet...plus one of the girls I was with gifted us with some delicious sugar cookies which paired well with the americano that I also ordered. The seasonal cocktail was a little sweet for me, but the Blanc be Blanc was just right! After enjoying our lunch, and the impromptu photo shoot we had with another staff we ventured around the grounds... I was impressed by the wide selection of meads on tap so it actually took me a while to decide what to order! I ended up building my own flight with five different flavors. Overall, the meads leaned more toward the dry and crisp side rather than being overly sweet, which made them easy to drink without salty snacks. My personal favorites were BA Knotty Soda (Vanilla Bourbon) and Blueberry Brunch. In addition to mead, they also offer ciders, beers, smoothies, and snack plates like hummus, so there's something for everyone to enjoy. The staff was welcoming and friendly, making the experience even better. Parking was also convenient, with plenty of spaces right in front of the meadery. I'd definitely come back to try even more of their meads!

Every staff member we interacted with was friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about what they do. I also appreciated that some friends who don't drink were still able to enjoy themselves thanks to the non-alcoholic options. The property itself is beautiful with scenic views, plenty of space to relax, and such a peaceful atmosphere. We had amazing weather the day we visited, which made it even more memorable. There was PLENTY of seating still - lots of large and small tables scattered throughout the property. They also have seating inside the winery at a small bar. The wine itself was really nice; we had several bottles of the rose at the table. It was light, crisp, and easy to sip in the nice weather. I was impressed that they also had 2 non alcoholic wines; the non drinkers in our group were happy to have some options made just for them (which were delicious also). There is a third party pizza business that had food offerings; we had many different types of their pizza which were all good. Very smart to have a food option for folks to enjoy while we sip our wine. Overall, the property is wonderfully maintained and the wines meet all expectations. I'd recommend giving this spot a try if you're looking for a nice winery north of the beltway!

The people are fine the drivers are friendly that's the only reason why I'm leaving 2 stars instead of one. There's always something wrong with the buses. Either it's broken WiFi, broken bathrooms, dirty floors, breaking down, or catching on fire. As I write this my group is dealing with a blown tire on one of the buses trying to come back from a trip. At minimum 1/3rd of all trips have had some failure that has resulted in severe delays and a bus being taken down. I wish they were isolated but over four years it's a trend. Edit on the course of this trip another bus died on the side of the road. Updating review to one star.

He opened and closed our doors. He escorted us into each winery. He communicated with the winery staff to make certain we were situated. He took pictures of the day, which he shared with us later.
