I can not say enough good things about Johnny, he is an absolute class act. This holiday was going…read moreto be the first where family would be together from Nashville, Hendersonville, and Philadelphia - the gift I wanted to give them was time spent doing what we enjoy most....eating and drinking. I reached out to Johnny with a full afternoon itinerary that would take us around to 3 wineries in the region. Johnny pulled up at 11:30 on the DOT, his car was spotless, and he was so personable. He's born and raised in the area and had a lot of great stories to share with us on our 30 minute ride down to the vineyards. On a whim, we realized that we were passing by the woodshop of our family friends and we asked if he would mind pulling into the driveway to see if he was home, he didn't even flinch as we pulled up the gravel driveway to the little cottage-like home that was quite the deviation from the plan to the winery. To say he is flexible and accommodating would be an understatement. We are only in the area once, maybe twice a year, but my family is already floating his business card and information around their development because of how great his service is. If you're in the Asheville/Hendersonville area and need local transportation 11/10, Johnny is your guy.

The last thing I wanted to worry about before I hopped on a cross-country flight was how the heck I…read morewas getting to my destination. Apparently the ride share and taxi services here operated a little different than I was used to. I don't need this kind of stress in my life. A quick call to Asheville Premier Transportation and I was all sorted. By the time I landed, I already had my driver's details and contact info. We connected before I even made it to the baggage area. We had a lovely little chat, I learned a bit about the area, and he made me feel safe even though we drove through a remote part of town that in the dark looked like an opening scene for a horror movie. But that's where my destination was and, in fairness, it didn't look much different in the daytime. If you like to not stress, get to your destination safely, and have a lovely human be the first person you encounter in Asheville, APT is for you.

BEWARE OF THESE THIEVES! THEY STEAL FROM THE ELDERLY! I…read morebooked Prestige for my elderly mother and aunt who were flying into Asheville. Their flight was delayed to the next morning. Prestige did not have a driver available and refuses to refund us. They said they have a 24 hour cancellation policy, but that policy doesn't actually exist. It's not on their website (although I'm sure they are working to add it now) and they didn't say anything about that policy when we booked with them. How does an airport transfer company not handle issues that arise when flights are delayed to the next day is beyond me. This is part of running an airport transport service... you either get another driver to handle the delayed arrival or you refund for not providing a service. You are not doing either one and have no actual cancellation policy that is available for anyone to see before (or after) booking - that's just theft and luckily AMEX will be reversing the charge for us. Use any other service in Asheville!
