Old Fashion and a chocolate twist.

This is one of the best donut places I have been. Donuts are old school and basic, not a ranch bacon whisky maple kinda place. The Large Jalapeño Cheese Kolaches are the best I have had! Get there early when they are hot from the oven! The basic maple and chocolate are spot on, donuts are crispy on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside. Mmmmm.

The perfect quick morning breakfast to pick up (or dine in). My boyfriend and I have come multiple times to grab breakfast to eat at home. Everything is always made fresh and delicious. Great prices and value. Plus everyone that works there is so kind. I highly recommend checking it out.

This place is a gem! Probably the best kolaches in the area, and good prices. Would love to see them add some more coffee selections!

Came here early morning to grab some donuts and breakfast tacos for a friend's bday! And they were open at 7AM on a Wednesday. I love mom and pop donut shops. I got a box of 6 donuts for the bday crew, half a dozen donut holes (the lovely folks threw in an extra one on the house) and two breakfast tacos for myself. I didn't get a chance to eat any of their donuts, so that was a miss...but I heard it was yummy. They have salsa on the side (that's more like thicc pico salsa) for you to grab and go, as well as napkins and other add-ons for those who order drinks like coffee. This review is for their vegetarian breakfast tacos. The tacos aren't Tacodeli, Veracruz or Torchy's status, but they're great if you're looking for something quick to eat and you're in a rush. The vegetarian bfast taco option has egg, cheese and papas. It was a good portion size for what you pay, but I would have liked the cheese to have been melted and the taco to be a bit warmer. I love supporting local shops that are run by friendly awesome folks. Their donut shop is also very clean and they have a few tables for folks to eat at if they need a little breather before starting their early mornings. Thanks y'all.

The place is always clean, professional and the donuts taste great. The staff is always nice and welcoming. For safety during the pandemic, they're wearing surgical masks, gloves and have a clear screen barrier at checkout. Overall the experience was great! Also the donuts and kolaches looked and tasted gre

Gordough's is one of those places that fully commits to indulgence. I was able to place my order online and schedule for pick up. The order was ready when I arrived. Parking was a bit challenging and the lot was full and they charge for parking. Service was quick, casual, just good energy and fast turnaround. I ordered my tried and true Miss Shortcake with their famous cake donut with cream cheese icing and fresh cut strawberries. The donut is so indulgent and was served warm with the most delectable flavor combinations. Tried the Son of a Peach with cream cheese icing, spiced peach filling, cake mix topping, cinnamon and sugar with honey butter. This one was a bit too overindulgent and sweet for my liking but was definitely worth a try. Portions are huge and can be shared as the donut is not as good warmed over. If you're in the mood for dessert and not think about calorie count, then this is the place.

The Glazed Yeast (The Prime Donut)......... if a donut maker can't do glazed, you might as well forget about the rest. Fantastic. Perfect. A good size and not a weak donut. I did a fancy chocolate cake donut of the Butterfinger kind. A fantastic blend of a good chocolate cake and the touch of peanut from the crisp. A good combo of about 50/50 share of flavor. Focusing on the cake donut resulted in a favorable chocolate cake donut. Freshness is key. Lastly was a buttermilk bar. Good, just good. I was craving Ube and might have gone a bit overboard on ordering dessert because they had so many Ube options. The building is colorful and decorated in bright pink with fun artwork and decor for an uplifting vibe. The line moved quickly and the service was friendly fast and efficient. I was able to place my order and pay with Apple Pay. I ordered the Taiyaki Sundae with black sesame and ube swirl soft serve served in a fish shaped mochi Belgian style waffle with Oreo dust on top. You can customize your sundae with filling like organic red sweet beans, Nutella or custard and toppings like Oreo dust, fruity pebbles or rainbow sprinkles. I ate this on site and the nutty black sesame balanced the sweet ube perfectly, and the Oreo topping added the best crunch. They had a variety of mochi donut flavors. Lucky for me, nothing was sold out today. I ordered the Oreo ube mochi donut and ube milk tea to-go. I ate the mochi donut later that day and it was probably my least favorite item from my order. It had the chewy mochi texture however I didn't get enough of the rich ube flavor. It had somewhat of a bitter aftertaste and the Oreo overpowered the ube. I drank the ube milk tea the next day and it was creamy, smooth, and not overly sweet. I really enjoyed the flavor profile of the beverage and would order it again. Overall, enjoyed my selections and will be back to try more dessert options and flavors from one of the most unique Asian dessert spots in Austin!

We were on Rainey street for SXSW and I had seen several people with the pink bag with a dog stamped on the front and wanted to see what all the hype was about. Everything was made fresh to order, so there's a bit of a wait, but it's worth it when you get them hot. I tried the Italian cream cake donuts. They have specialty flavors that were $1 more and all of them were appealing to me. Unfortunately, you can not order a sampler pack of different flavors and have to just pick one flavor which is why I am giving 4 stars. My recommendation would be to offer a sampler pack as to not have to commit to one flavor. The pink dog stamped package came with multiple tiny donuts inside. They were freshly made, soft, and served warm. My friend ordered the regular donuts and I have to say that I didn't notice the Italian cream cake flavor as much as I would have liked compared to the original. There was a good balance of sweetness and a creamy, slightly rich profile without feeling overly heavy. The mini size is perfect because you can try a few without feeling like you've gone overboard and it is great for sharing. Overall, Little Lucy's is a solid dessert stop when you want something warm, fresh and satisfying. I would not recommend paying extra for the specialty flavors like Italian cream cake donuts and will just go with the original donuts in the future.
