Well for being buffet and all you can eat! This is a pretty good place to come and try! Wow the habachi grill is the bomb I really like it. Get the seafood combo! Shoot you are going to love it especially spicy!!! Yep that's how you eat it the spicier the better. Come and get some good decent food! Egg Rolls are delicious by the way!!!

I so wanted to 5 stars but I always take 1 away when there is no wi-fi especially so close to San Jac. The restaurant is very large and extremely clean. There are 6 serving tables with lots of choices except we found no peanut chicken. The food was all hot and none of the meats were pieces of fat. On the contrary it was all vey tender. My wife did not like the soup because it had too much gelatin. Even though they have sushi and a hibachi area Otis very small and limited. The restaurant opens at 11 and we were here at 1130. Maybe that's why the food was so good? The place was getting quite a few people by noon. Well it is a Saturday after all. The busers are moving quickly but they are friendly. My wife needed a fork for the desert and they brought one quickly and with a smile. The deserts were excellent and rich. The decor is really nice and they have a large waterfall enclosed in glass. The bathroom was super clean and somewhat modern. The check was $24.43 for 2 including bottomless drinks. Not bad. The next time we are aching for Chinese food it will be difficult to pass this restaurant up.

I've eaten here a few times. It's similar to Hibachi Grill Buffet or King Buffet in Friendswood. Narrower selection but did is good.

Meat is cheap and chewy. Desserts are tasteless. There is a large variety but it's a typical buffet with buffet quality.

Usually really good. These days better lunch than dinner. The rice noodles had little flavor and today's sushi wasn't great.

Food is decent but not all of it hot. Sushi good for buffet standards. Price is not too expensive. 11.10 on Sunday. Waiter was attentive.

They have a very large selection including salads, desserts, sushi and soft serve ice cream (which we did not try).

I recently tried this local shabu spot and had a really enjoyable experience. The restaurant was…read moreclean, well-organized, and the atmosphere felt comfortable for both small groups and solo diners. The broth was flavorful but not overly salty, which worked perfectly for cooking the meats and vegetables. The beef slices were thin and fresh, cooking quickly in the broth and staying tender. The vegetable platter was generous and included a nice variety like cabbage, mushrooms, tofu, and noodles. One thing I liked was the sauce bar--there were several options like ponzu, sesame sauce, garlic, and chili so you could customize the flavor exactly how you want. Service was friendly and attentive. The staff explained how to cook the ingredients properly, which is helpful if you're new to shabu-shabu. The only small downside was that it can get a bit busy during peak dinner hours, so you might have to wait for a table. Overall, it's a great spot if you're craving fresh hot pot and a casual dining experience. I'd definitely come back again.

I did try all of the meats and it was a lot of food but every cut was great! Nice open restaurant with plenty of seating and arranged so you feel as if you have your own space. The only reason I dropped it by a star was that there was only one person waiting on a large portion of the guests. She really tried hard and this is not a knock on her. But even though it was a slow night she struggled to keep up at times. I would have given it 4.5 if I had the choice.

Delicious northern Indian/himalaya dinner. We are always looking for a good Indian restaurant and…read morewe have found it. A group of us one for dinner and we tried several different dinners and shared them amongst us. We were seated quickly and they accommodate our group of 10 easily, we placed our order in the food, came out, reasonably quickly. The main course started with a salad, and we ordered both garlic and buttered nan. Our main courses included mahkani chicken, vindaloo, fish, chicken biryani, spinach paneer, momo dumplings, and several orders of King of Texas platter. The flavors were wonderful, and when we ordered a few of us, ask them to dial up the spice, but be careful. The service was very good and attentive, and the restaurant was relatively quiet from noise. Some restaurants are just super noisy, and TAJ is not. If you enjoy Indian cuisine, I know you'll enjoy this restaurant.

Food: 4.6/5 Service: 5/5…read moreAmbiance: 4.5/5 Food- Let me preface by stating that I am not Indian nor Nepali. That being said, this is probably my favorite Nepali/Indian place in this area (albeit there are only a few). Here's my opinion on all the dishes we ordered on our most recent stop: Fish Pakora: Nothing too crazy, but still good and well seasoned Piro Chicken Wings: Really good flavor, but way too spicy for my family personally (we are not crazy on spice, though) Goat Tandoori Momo: Really good, no notes Chicken Makhani: Really rich in flavor, incredibly buttery Lamb Handi Curry: Amazing as well, though enjoyed Makhani more Chili Lamb Jerky: Probably the weakest dish we got. Just not my vibe and tasted like I was eating bones the whole time. Shrimp Noodle Soup: Accidentally got this dish, but not a disappointment in the slightest. Probably my favorite bite of the night. Shrimp Stir Fry Noodles: Also incredible with lots of standout spices added in. Garlic Naan: Never misses Chicken Biryani: So much depth of flavor, went perfectly with the meat dishes we ordered. Service/Ambiance- Great, with not much to complain about. Music was a little bit too loud considering how calm the restaurant's atmosphere would be otherwise. Servers were great and speedy even though it was late and not too crowded. Great place. There's not much more to add. Himalayan Taj is seemingly simple with no flashy presentation in how it's designed, but that allows great food to really shine. Despite my issues with a few of the dishes, this place is really worth a visit whether you're by yourself or with a large group.

Boy, I did it! Spud Shack offers much more than just CFS. Stuffed baked potatoes of every variety, of course. You have to look quite carefully at the menu to find the CFS, but you definitely won't miss it when you see this gargantuan hunk of fried heaven come out of the kitchen! A lot of times, huge CFS's turn out to be all breading, no meat, and no flavor. Not this one. The meat is an excellent round pounded tender. the breading is just the right consistency, and the cream gravy is the kind you want to lick off the plate. Trust me, I did. Of the many sides, I went with the sensational mashed potatoes and some of the best sautéed squash I've ever eaten.

Friday buffet supposed to be all you can eat catfish which they didn't want to serve or make. The buffet does not look like the picture and when we tried to order it, we were talked out of it saying order from the menu if we want fresh food (we were the only customers in restaurant when we arrived)! That really bummed me out because i would have liked to have salad bar. We ended up paying just as much as buffet would have cost for a plate of shrimp and catfish and salad was not included. The salad bad was stocked but the fish and shrimp baskets on the buffet were completely empty. Also overheard him on phone telling customer $3.99 crawfish special advertisement on fb is not accurate either. Sorry to say will not be returning.
