This tea spot is located in a little garden tucked between two streets. Full of young locals checking each other out and pretending not to. I think they have hookah (nargile) as well but most people stick to the ubiquitous tea, as we did. I accidentally ordered a mint tea the first time we went but be warned, any tea besides the regular black tea is made with some sort of mix, it is not actual mint (or lemon, or apple) tea. This is pretty much true anywhere in Istanbul, except in the fancier more westernized places, so I won't hold my ignorance against them. We loved stopping in here to people watch if we had an hour to kill before or after dinner. For 2.5 tl a glass of tea can't go wrong! read more
