There were signs displayed around on the deals for the week on beers and other specialty drinks. If you want to listen to some music there is a nice up to date Juke Box up on the wall. The atmosphere was nice and quiet. Not a huge crowd around Sunday Afternoon but around 6ish is when people start to come and shoot pool. I ordered a Malibu and Cranberry which was pretty tasty. It gave me a slight buzz but not overly over the top. it was just the way I liked it. This is a nice place to just come and chill with some friends or even a date night. I would recommended this place and definitely make my way back here for some more fun.

Let's put it this way, there was nearly a fight in the parking lot when I was there, and the cops had to be called to break it all up. They have the standard bar drinks. Maybe one craft beer, but nothing special there. And no food. The staff is nice enough, especially if you're a regular. If it's your first time in, then just be your friendly self and you'll be fine. This is by far the diviest dive bar in the area. You're kinda taking your life into your hands coming here (alright, not really true, but it can feel like it). Other bars in the area (along Madison Ave or up closer to the Green Line stop) are going to be a little nicer, friendlier and you're probably less likely to get hepatitis.

The place was packed (duh, St. Patrick's Day), so it was kind of hard to find a place to stand (we had one table and our group was too big to fit), but we made it work. Drink prices were reasonable enough as well. Service was a little on the slow side, but I'll chalk it up to it being St. Patrick's Day as it was pretty darn busy and they were clearly hustling. The one weird thing was that they had the karaoke set up so the people who were singing were standing right inside the door. So literally you walk in and you're right upon the person who's singing. Kind of awkward, and when we went to leave we had to kind of finagle around a group that was singing to get out.

I've been to this place about 3 times, give or take. & I have to say, it's really quite nice. Very clean inside, including the bathroom. They have a pretty large dance floor, though I've never seen it in use the times I've been there. I have seen the DJ preparing for action however, and have seen fliers posted throughout the place for live bands that are booked to play there. They have a very nice alcohol collection, and some female bartenders who are pretty easy on the eyes as well. They have about 4 big flat screen TVs right above the alcohol bottles so you can watch the game or whatever is on. Good for your couple drinks after work (or during, if you're that type) or partying on Friday or Saturday night. Oh & if you're a Sox fan like me, you'll notice NO Cubs stuff plastered all over the place like many places in the area. Woohoo! All in all, a nice little hangout spot, much cleaner than your average dive.

Super nice, super funny. Don't get me wrong, they're just as likely to insult you as anything else, but it's always in a playful way. They're good people. Ditto for the regulars. All you need to do with any of them is engage, talk sports, local events, food, pets, drinks, whatever, and suddenly you're welcomed with open arms. That's the magic of these kinds of bars. The drinks are drinks, but if you want something specific, they'll do their best. Buy the bartender a shot and they're likely to do even better. No food, but bring some if you like. These folks are good, the space is fine, and the drinks are cold and generally reasonably priced. Drop in, chat folks up and you'll have a good time.
