We had gone to 6 different granite dealers in the area trying to find a slab in that color and style. We were told that was a hard one to find and there may not be any available. A couple granite dealers asked us what our 2nd choice was. We went to Lexmarusa in Mckeesport. Ruth also told us that was a hard one to get. She said be patient and let her see what she could find. It took a couple weeks but she found it. In fact, she found 4 of them. They were all out of state. She had the suppliers send us pictures and videos of the slabs. The slab we loved was in New Jersey. Ruth had 2 slabs shipped in and had us come to their shop for us to see the one we liked the best. They were more beautiful in person. When the installation crew came in, Jason was so meticulous in his work. Everything had to be perfect. Jason told me he had worked with granite for more than 20 years. I believe that. Everything came out perfect. Now, every time I walk up to our countertop, I look at the beauty of the granite. I look at all the colors and the patterns in the stone. It looks different each time I look at it. The best way to describe it is WOW. Lexmarusa was very reasonable in their price, and their workmanship was 2nd to none. We hired Molyneaux to install manufactured hardwood on our first and second floor. They were…read moresupposed to have it installed while we were on our honeymoon. Instead, they barely finished our second floor and had none of our first floor done when we returned. On top of that, it took them an additional three days to finish the job. The final job included uneven floors, floors that creaked, and floors that were not evenly distributed. They clearly were in a hurry, with quality being a minor concern. They offered us $500 credit for a future job but their pricing for said future job was so outrageous it seemed a joke. Instead we went another direction. We used Empire for our addition 6 months later, and the quality difference is noticeable. The Empire floors are solid, even, and stable. The Molyneaux floors are uneven, inconsistently placed, and lacking quality for the price charged. Overall very disappointing.
