Sorry - fat finger Beach of course
We had been told by a Danish naturist friend that this beach to the north of Hvide Sande is pretty wild and woolly - well that's true! It was one of the first to be approved as a naturist beach, though that's permissible at all beaches, except Henne Strand and one of the Copenhagen ones. Turn left near Husby church and drive to the very end where you will find a good sized parking area and a loo (well-maintained!!!)
On your way, take care - they were logging when we went - don't even think of facing down these huge lorries...use common sense and let them through
Go up the dune (the cut through has been reasonably flattened down a bit) and down and you will find a huge beach, very sparsely populated - and this was August!
The signs are clear, textile left, naturists right - though nobody seemed to bother much as many people were out walking. Tip - take a foldable windbreak...this is windy, but the dunes go in and out so you can shelter easily enough
There were people boarding in the water, mainly with families/others...very sensible - check out the photos...you need to be a strong swimmer to do other than paddle
It is well worth the visit; so wild...call in at the Lyng Lighthouse on your way back...(see post if it takes)
One more thing....unbelievably, the water was warm, warmer than Houstrup and Argab beaches read more
