Came here for brunch on a Saturday morning (11am) after driving up from Orange county. The line outside looked long but we out our names down and were given an estimate of 10 minutes. Our table was ready in 2 minutes! Awesome! My girl friend and I were starving so we both ordered the Kobe steak and eggs, medium rare. It took about 15-20 minutes to get the food so that wasn't too bad. However the steak was not medium rare. More like medium or medium well. It was yummy though and we were in a rush to get to the oxbow district for a spirits tasting so we didn't complain. The potato pancake included was delicious as well if you like vegetables like bell peppers. I can't say the same for the people next to us though. The people come dressed up like it's brunch on the upper east side. Maybe it's a Napa thing, but other patrons seemed stuck up. One patron in particular kept giving the staff attitude about little things about not having menus, not getting their water before people who arrived after them. Kinda annoying to heard so much complaining while trying to enjoy brunch. It was a particularly hot day so a waitress opened the sliding glass windows that makes the store front wall so that a breeze would come in. Unfortunately she didn't move the heavy drapes and I was sitting with my back towards the drapes so the drapes eod blowing into my back and even onto the table. I ended up bunching up the curtains and stuffing them into the back of my chair so I could enjoy my meal. There were also flies all over the place. Yuck! read more

This was a very quick pit stop for a quick bite, very quick! It was 3pm and the happy hour menu was live. I went for the tacos, fish and pulled pork, which I will say were the best I have ever had. I was told the tacos are just one piece but the size was equal to two regular tacos so order accordingly. My wife ordered a quinoa salad and asparagus which she loved thoroughly and also said it was the best she has had. The secret was the fresh jalapeños in the salad! I wish we could have stayed for a longer meal and try some other things on the menu but thanks to the high yelp ratings this place really lives up to its rating. read more

The food is great, the service good. If you're looking for a casual, tasty bite this is worth the stop. The decor and ambiance was underwhelming. This isn't a highbrow remark, I enjoy whole-in-the-wall places and fancy things too. Instead, I just feel nothing pulls the room together. The food was average at best. For a Michelin rated restaurant I was not impressed at all. The server forgot my wine initially. We ordered the cornbread and it was burnt on the bottom. I ordered the chicken and it was extremely dry. My husband ordered the tamale and it had ZERO flavor for a tamale. Popped in on a busy Saturday mid morning and got seated immediately. Everything we'd read had the bar high and it did not disappoint. We sat at the bar so the service was quite attentive. Ok, we dropped into this place totally by chance because our first pick (unmentioned restaurant) looked a little jankey. Anyway we were excited to try their empanada and fish tacos. One tiny Empanada came out on the plate with some lovely greens at $11. My wife looked at me and I reflected the W.T.F. look. We get taqueria emps for like 3 bucks. Yes it's Napa so we laughed it off because it was delish! Now for the wha wha?! The fish tacos came out and we were transported back to SoCal, Austin ... wherever you get great tortillas and quality fish and cabbage salsa stuff and I mean the best tortillas west of Albuquerque. The corn/flour mix were perfectly flexible and tasty with a hint of char. So good we had 4 more for dessert, replacing the float that I was going to get as a splurge. Yes food is good. They exceed your expectations! I love it when you see a place and create a level of expectation of service and food quality and then they end up exceeding it. This place definitely provided service and food that I didn't expect when I walked in this restaurant. From the outside... it didn't really scream out fine dining. But the moment we were greeted by our server, he really knew what he was doing. That guy was very knowledgable with the menu... and had an amazing way of making you want their food. Now for the food... everything was Great. Their specialty corn bread with that honey butter was amazing! A must get! Hanger Steak was great. It had good flavor with the sauce they used. I was glad they had steak on their menu. After doing wine tasting the whole day, I was totally craving to drink wine with a good steak. I also was able to try some of the Karobuta Pork Osso Bucco with Risotto and that was really good! The flavor was more on the muted side which was perfect, probably due to the Risotto. My wife and I enjoyed an absolutely awesome meal at Grace's Table over the weekend. Based on the Yelp reviews, we had to order the iron skillet cornbread with honey lavender butter and it did not disappoint. The cornbread was delicious by itself, but the honey lavender butter made it even better. We also ordered the Argentine Empanada with the Chimichurri sauce that was also delicious. Since I checked-in on Yelp, I used the complimentary Amuse Bouche on the cornbread, which was a bonus. The fish taco's were possibly the best I've ever had. We also enjoyed the Chilaquiles, since we were in a brunch type of mood. Grace's Table is a quaint little restaurant in downtown Napa. Service is very good and our server Lindsey was exceptional. Besides being friendly and attentive, she helped recommend the dishes and she couldn't have been more spot-on. I really enjoyed that everything is homemade and they use all fresh ingredients. Came here with my mom and 2 children because of the great reviews. I was reassured it was a good decision to try out when I saw the amount of people gathered for lunch here. Even though it was quite busy, we were greeted right away and given comfortable seating. I'm not going to lie, I was a little nervous when I saw the limited selection on the menu. I must say however the cafe was extremely accommodating with the modifications I requested to my meal and everything came out quickly and very importantly, tasting! We went to Graces because of the good Yelp reviews, and we were not disappointed. We split several appetizers and loved them all. Corn bread over the top, pork belly, nicoise, ratatouille, and a version of French onion soup. Of course a glass of Vine Cliff chard. Plenty of food for the two of us. No room for dessert. Wait staff was very knowledgeable and the noise level was good as well. We would go again and recommend it. read more

We are visiting Napa for the first time and friends who live in the area recommended we come here, so on our very first day this is where we went for brunch. We were not disappointed! Lovely food, lovely waiter and nice downtown Napa location. I had the eggs Benedict and my husband the quiche with the soup and everything was delicious. Of course, we had to try the cornbread with lavender flavored butter and thoroughly enjoyed that too. Simply marvelous! Found this amazing place thanks to my fellow Yelpers. We loved it so much we went 3 times during our recent trip to Napa. Have to say everything we had was delicious. I would dare say they have the BEST beat salad I've ever tasted. The skillet corn muffins are not to be missed!! The quiche was amazing and the eggs Benedict was wonderful. Looking for brunch on the way out of town and yelp led us here. The venue is small, very cramped and very busy. But sitting at the bar I noticed they largely ignored us while they served other patrons around us. But when they did finally approach us they were nice. Food wise, I had eggs with this strange potato thing and some exotic fruits. But those flavors paled in comparison to my friend's pancakes and syrup goodness. Came up on this cute little place as we rolled up into town. Service was superb and the food was amazing. Plus bottomless coffee for 3 bucks?! Sold. I ordered the blueberry pancakes with mixed berries. It was so good! And the best part was that it came out super fast! One of my friends ordered the chilequiles and that was amazing as well. Grumpy, hungover, and starving for a hangover remedy slathered in grease. Not what I got here but that's probably a good thing. Graces table was fantastic, situated on a little corner in downtown Napa is this gem. Go as the doors open as this place can get packed. I started off with the usuals. Some water to quench my thirst. A cup of espresso to take the edge off, 2 Advil to ease the headache(bring your own Advil) and a delicious lavender butter cornbread dish that was out of this world. My biggest regret, order a second.... For entree I of course being from Texas ordered the Chilaquiles. Usually fatty and greasy back home. These were light and flavorful. Felt slightly nutritious. Which at the end of the day is a huge perk. This meal set me up for an amazing day of wine tasting and boozey nonsense. I most definitely will be coming back. read more

Facility has lots of windows and can be a bit bright or hot depending upon the weather. Provides sidewalk dinning as well. Service was challenged by the Saturday opening rush. We arrive at opening and beyond coffee and menus the service dropped off dramatically. After the meal I had to send the bus boy to get the check from my server and then had to find my server to pay the bill. It put a cloud over our first experience here. read more

Cute little spot! It would be an extra star if they had a liquor license and had a full bar. Bloody Mary with the brunch menu would've been perfect. Their cornbread and lavender honey butter is as amazing as everyone says. Perfect combo just melted in my mouth. I ordered the fish tacos which was pretty fresh. The Kobe steak and eggs was okay. First time coming here because abc bakery was unfortunately full. I thought I'd treat my family here since the reviews aren't too bad. First impressions: The ambience is nice, but confusing. Initially I thought this place was some kind of country brunch joint. But the modern backsplash and the bar on one side of the restaurant seems out of place...well, as long as it's clean, right? As far as the food goes, it's not so bad. I had the eggs Benedict and my sister and mom both had buttermilk pancakes, which was as equally good. My husband and I decided to go for a weekend to Napa. We found Grace's Table online. We werre so happy with our food and service that I decided to open an account and write this review. The food was amazing. Our waitress Jaimie was supper attentitive too. We ordered the salmon, the burger, apple pie and espresso. All were of superb quality and very delicious. I especially liked the pickled vegetables. We returned the next day for more. For our next visit my husband got his salmon again and I got a chicken sandwich. Again, the food was great. I would drive from SF again to eat there. Highly recommend it. =) read more

Great service from the moment we walked in for dinner. There was no wait and they already had a booster seat all set with a kiddie menu! It was a nice touch and appreciated even though my baby was only 6 months old and not sitting in a high chair yet! Clean modern space. Our server was great and I could tell that there was a lot of repeat customers as the servers would have lengthy personal conversations with them. That's nice that they make return customers feel so welcome. I enjoyed my food - got a lamb with bean dish (sorry, I can't recall the name right now), my husband got a burger, and my FIL got a salad. Took my Mom to Grace's Table for a birthday dinner with a few guests. Service was pretty good, dinning room is a bit small causing it to be loud. Menu is really appetizing and all things ordered were incredibly delicious! I doubt anything on the menu isn't! Their cocktails feel a bit lacking? Just didn't taste like anything I haven't had before and something I could have ordered at the local bar. Overall would likely come back! I recommend the Gorgonzola gnocchi, roasted chicken, burger, and steak! They were all fabulous! read more

I discovered something new about a friend that almost rainy grey Tuesday afternoon. (if only Fifty Shades were in town, LOL, I crack myself up)...but I digress...She actually had a palate for food! I really wish that I could give this experience the 5 stars that the food probably deserves, but I had to take a star away for the atmosphere, which I'll describe below. First to the good stuff. I would really come back here for the food. While there may have been a touch too many lavendar flavors (in the butter for the cornbread and in the meringues for dessert); but that's my problem if lavendar only makes me think of soap. The creativity and diverse mixture of culture clashes still wins brownie points. The pear salad was light and tasty, even for those that can't imagine fruit being served as an appetizer or entree dish. I keep thinking that it's something that I can just whip up at home, but chances are I will miss some key nuances of the dressing, the greens, the walnuts or the choice of pear. The cornbread actually had pieces of corn in it. Enough said. No, that's not fair, it also came with house made lavender butter and slices of Mache (yes, really). The gnocci sealed the deal for my friend. The sauce, the gnocci, the sprinkles of cheese and other sprinkles of something or other was a perfectly portioned meal. She was quite happy with her palate without the need to try anything else anyone else ordered. I opted for the fish tacos in their house made tortillas freshly grilled from the catch of the day with a side of perfectly fine house made cole slaw with buttermilk, chili-lime dressing. Ahhh...memories. And then the memories continue for the perfectly crusted and richly custarded creme brulee in a heart-shaped bowl (we melted), accompanied (with a separate order) of house sorbets and meringue pieces (the lavendar ones). Our server was warm and friendly, almost had the heir of the mom of the house who cooks and serves at the same time. Yes, yes, I should make sure to come back here. So before I conclude, the slight oversight was the "business lunch" atmosphere. First, since we're from out of town, or more like from across the country and just happened to drive by here, no reservations were made. The host was amicable, but had to seat us at a bar table first to make sure that those that actually did reserve the table showed up. Shortly after we placed our orders, however, a table opened up and we were seated like normal people. This may be perfect for a business lunch, of which there were many during the 2 hours we spent there. But never-the-less, in my mind this clashed with the coziness and flavors of the meal. read more

Oh, Grace's Table, we discovered you by chance on a trip through Napa, and you did not let us down. You look sort of diner-ish and simple, but much classier and more sophisticated than a diner. Being here felt somehow like being closer to nature. You manage to blend seamlessly into your lush green surroundings in the Napa Valley. Your food is what I think of when I think of California-style cuisine. It's fresh, organic and locally grown, full of herbs and vegetables (farmhouse style food), with classic mediterranean (especially French) influences. Your food was elegant in its simplicity, and very very tasty. I had the local halibut (herb-crusted) on a bed of grilled vegetables, white beans, and arugula, with fingerling potatoes. Your grilled goat cheese appetizer was the perfect blend of flavors, with the sweet and sour balsamic reduction, sweet roasted figs and creamy soft, smoky goat cheese. The wine was some of the best wine I've ever had. I wish I remembered the name, because I really want to buy a couple bottles. It was a locally produced merlot, and smoother than any merlot I've had before. Service was friendly, comfy, homey, and attentive, very Northern California. Grace's Table, I remember you often, and I can't wait to see you again. Next time I'm up north, I will definitely pay you a visit. read more
