You can pack on the salad for under $5. They have a weekly menu to take with you or you can print it off from their website. They have many options besides the salad bar... fish-breaded/fried or baked, burgers made to order, veggie burgers made to order, a daily soup, prepared sandwiches... it is a nice change from fast food or an expensive restaurant in the area. The fresh choices always get my attention. Most hospital's cafeterias are full of canned vegetables and applesauce... bravo! Thank you for the great work lunches. You will need to park at a meter, my coworkers and I carpool and this makes the parking easier. I have never tried their breakfast foods, but my coworkers claim it's fabulous and tastiest in the area... the French toast and grits are their favorites.

However, Health Concious Diners will be pleasantly surprised at the low prices; the low salt, low fat, gluten free menu variety, and the tasty food selection. My favorite dishes are: the daily variety of hot soups (and salt free Keebler crackers), the Salad Bar, the grilled Hamburger and Turkey Burger station, the Pasta Dishes offered and their delecious Hot Wings. Additionally, for breakfast, I enjoy their French Toast, Scrambled Eggs, and Hot Grits (which are some of the tastiest in the downtown Cleveland area).

If I could give this s***hole a 0/5 i would. the adolescent medicine doctor in control of the…read moreeating disorder program here is horrible. the food that they serve here is all processed and the dietary service has a terrible lack of quality. the social worker/"therapist" that works on the sixth floor does not care about your mental health whatsoever. honestly she should be charged with intentional infliction of emotional distress and emotional professional misconduct as she falsely accuses me of mental disorders that i don't even have!!! the doctor here will try keep you until you reach a certain body weight "percentage" as even many residential eating disorder programs let you come and go at your own will. the hospital itself is disgusting altogether! it takes several weeks to even clean the rooms we sleep in and you think that since you are in hospital it would kept very clean, not here though! all the nurses get so stressed out due to improper training when psych kids come through here as well as they are mostly understaffed and not suitable for those types of patients. the doctors treat kids and young adults with eating disorders as if they are psych patients. if you want to take your child to the hospital in the Cleveland area for eating disorders please DO NOT COME HERE! this hospital is not suitable for SEED patients AT ALL, please save your child and go to the main campus at the Cleveland Clinic or Hillcrest Hospital! I feel so bad for the nurses and PCAs that have to deal with this crap daily...

The WORST inpatient Ped Psych experience. NEVER GO HERE. IF YOU WANT YOUR SUICIDAL CHILD TO LIVE,…read moreDO NOT GO HERE! Go to Cleveland Clinic Fairview if you are in Cleveland. Cleveland Clinic Fairview (worked with them three time for IP Psych) are on their game, great teams, more frequent check-ins on your child, better group sessions (says my child), better food (rainbow food is cold and dry), Fairview have competent, emotionally intelligent staff who understand the stress and worry of a concerned parent -- who actually listen and will extend the care of your child. I COULD NOT BE MORE DISAPPOINTED WITH RAINBOW IP PSYCH. I needed to request the ombudsman evaluate their decision to release our child when he was by all measure in a worse place and not given reasonable time for med changes to take effect and was told, "I can give you the number" and "I can look into it.", but never given a yes. When they gave questionable advice, were challenged (based of 3x times previous IP Psych experience at CCF Fairview), and then told them I was recording the conversation to preserve history, they refused to talk. Why would a medical professional, giving their professional opinion, as an expert who claims they know better than a worried parent, when the advice is questionable (to a worried parent) not willingly invite active review by the ombudsman to protect themselves? Why would they be afraid to have their exert advice to be recorded? Rainbow is an absolute NATIONALLY RECOGNIZED jewel for nearly all things pediatric medical. I would still take my kids there for ANYTHING OTHER THAN IP PSYCH because they are elite among the elite. But I implore all parents, if your kid requires IP Psych, NEVER GO HERE. Go to CCF Fairview or Akron Children's. The leadership over this group will fail you as a parent.

Clearly I've been putting off this review for far too long as I was concerned about posting…read moresomething so personal to the world. But let's face it; the reality of things is that suicide is almost as common in our lives as drug overdoses. With this being said, let me set the scene of one of many struggles someone suffering from a mental illness faces. During the month of December, my oldest sibling attempted suicide twice within a 3 week time period. The second attempt, leading them to Lutheran ...my sibling used to be a drug addict & then switched to becoming an alcoholic. And yes, she had been drinking on this particular evening- so much so that a 911 dispatcher & his friends at the local bar drove her to this hospital. We were told that she should have died from the amount she had consumed alone. This attachment of mine, also happens to be bi-polar (stage 3/4 if I remember correctly) & cannot afford her medication(s). Even so, if you drink massive amounts of booze while on anti-depressants it cancels it out. I realize that the staff at all hospitals are overwhelmed with this exact type of patient. That they do not have the proper facilities nor tools to effectively deal with mentally disturbed patients. I do not blame them for this. However, when my sibling was dropped off; the gentlemen who took her there clearly explained to the staff that she had been talking about killing herself, had a plan,etc... she still had visible injuries from the first attempt and from the second attempt prior to arriving at the bar. Unfortunately, the staff automatically dismissed this information. They ignored the dispatchers concerns and the information that my parents provided about the first attempt & her mental illness. The staff just assumed it was another alcoholic and refused to keep her for the required 3 days of observation. They discharged her the next morning; never providing her with a psychological evaluation. Never calling her counselor or providing her with her medication. She didn't even have a ride home; just kicked her out of the room and could care less. They NEVER did their job!!!! Every hospital is required to detain a failed suicide attempt for 72 hours! Not less than 12. Thankfully my sibling did not make a 3rd attempt, but what if she had? Could you imagine loosing someone to suicide knowing it might have been prevented if the staff had done their job. I called their patient experience/concerns hotline on 12/23/18, left a message & heard nothing back-ever. Know matter how many times I called & left voice mails - til this day not one person has responded to me. This only show you a very, very small fraction of how hard it is to get help. With all of these suicides going on- have you ever stopped to consider how many of those individuals did seek help and were unsuccessful? The cost of a rehabilitation center I looked into was over $5,000 just for a down payment. Another $15,000 upon the arrival of the intervention group that would assess my sister and an additional $20,000 for a week stay at their rehab facility. This did not include all of the expenses either. The hospital did nothing! The suicide prevention hotline she called for help after the first attempt- stated they had a bed available & then immediately hung up on her! What do you do when every attempt at "life" is taken from you? If you or someone you know needs help, don't take them here. I called the Cuyahoga Mobile Crisis Clinic (216) 623-6888- they were the only people who took the time to listen, and truly help.
