I would give Sunset Culture Events a negative star review if I could. STAY AWAY AT ALL COST!!…read more We had multiple LONG phone calls and a vision board and a powerpoint of what was expected. Briana was supposed to be the officiant and florist. Let's start off with she arrived an hour before my ceremony with only Publix (grocery store) bouquets still in their wrapping with the price tags. Next she "forgot" 4 bridesmaid bouquets and then tried to claim I told her to do that. Then she forgot 10 boutonnières for the guys, the groom didn't even have one. Next she forgot every single center piece for all the tables. She then put fake flowers on my arch when I paid for real ones. She made my bouquet smaller than a grocery store bouquet. She also forgot all corsages for the grandmothers. She left to go officiate my wedding leaving everyone that was in the wedding with out florals for the ceremony so my hotel staff was trying to get the flowers together for her which obviously made a huge delay in the ceremony and left our guest sitting there. She was then asked to leave the ceremony and our friend had to step in to officiant due to her lack of florals. She was crying almost the whole time about us calling her out on her lack of performance. I would also like to mention she asked me to prepay $800 early for special "tea roses" that were on back order for the corsages. No tea roses or corsages were in site so obviously the $800 she asked for went to the other negative review as the refund since the timing matched up perfectly. The day after she blocked me on facebook and removed access to all of my powerpoints, design boards, etc. You only do that when you know you messed up! She then tried to offer a tiny amount claiming she provided the rest of the services. When asked for that small amount back she offered we were ghosted. Still waiting on the full refund and it has been a month and a half! If you have her you need to cancel and get someone else ASAP! She is a major scam.

Very friendly, attentive during the event and professional. It was truly a pleasure working with Angie and her staff. There is a large menu to select from and the prices are quite reasonable. The cake was so delicious! There was more than enough food. I would definitely use again and recommend to anyone looking for a great caterer. Thank you, Angie, for a job well-done!

Angie is THE best! She (and her food) have been the best part about wedding planning so far! First…read moreoff, her prices are unbeatable, and she is as nice as they come. Dealing with people who are planning and stressing, she has this way about her that just calms you and reassures you that she's got it taken care of. They have done this thousands of times, and you can tell.I had talked to her on the phone and through email for a few weeks and then we just went and did our taste testing over the weekend. She answered all my questions I had already thought to ask plus about 20 more lol. Everything we tasted was great, but the tortellini alfredo, chicken piccata, and beef/bleu cheese/pecans/apple wraps were amaaazing. Honestly, you can't find a better company with the food and service they have. We were there for almost 2 hours, never felt rushed, she sat and talked with us and went over everything they include. Never felt any kind of pressure to upgrade or price up for certain items. There is also a HUGE amount of items to choose from. So many things from cold or hot apps, entrees (there were so many different options, I didn't even know what half of them were!), sides. She also offers cakes and cupcakes, plate chargers, etc. For the wedding catering she includes table linens, napkins, china plates, silverware, goblets or champagne flutes, tea/lemonade/coffee, wait staff, basically everything food/service involved (and then some!) she's got you! We love us some good food, so the food aspect of wedding planning has been the part we were most worried about, but Angie has literally lifted that weight off my shoulders and not even worried in the least. I will give a tip saying that even though certain venues say they require certain vendors , I told them we already had a caterer in mind and gave them Magic Occasions website and they were fine with it. So just ask when you're venue searching. We were referred to Magic Occasions from one of my friends who is using them for her wedding in February and SHE was referred to them from her boss soooo that should also tell you something!
