Everything in here has been around for a long time. The pews look original. Very enlightening experience being in the church. It's open all the time. They have a hand pull church bell. Awesome place.

It was really a huge theatrical production, at least 40 people in the choir, a real baby Jesus actor and a couple of live sheep that looked pretty scared. The worship center had at least 600 chairs in it and it was full. The musicians & performers did a great job. The preacher was young and full of enthusiasm but not being a Baptist, his style of preaching with the "you're going to hell if you don't repent NOW" was a little heavy for me. Five stars for the members being so welcoming and the performers so good.

In her eyes, the people of our church are a bunch of heartless animal abusers who didn't take care of a starving dog??? I've never seen a starving dog of any form at the church and I'm there quite a bit. I have seen people walking their dogs on our grounds or police officers exercising their police dogs...Having attended this church for years, I will tell you that our church is full of animal lovers as well as (more importantly) the lovers of people in need....spiritual, emotional, and basic physical needs. I have seen this church feed hungry people, build structures for the aging and handicapped , mentor and take care of children, and show the light of God to those experiencing spiritual struggles. Our church is not perfect (it is full of people after all), but it is a welcoming place. I know that this church has helped me in my time of need, and I in turn try to help my church when I can. We welcome all and would love to have you come and visit our friendly little country church that does have a goodly number of animal lovers (though some would admittedly rather hunt Bambi than pet him!)...and yes, I would help a starving dog if I saw one at my church (or at my barn where I operate an animal rescue mission full of rescued cats, dogs, and equines). I would ask the readers of these reviews to consider coming for a visit and not "throw bones" at a place they've never stepped foot in....

His sermons are applicable to every one. I have never been someone who usually takes notes. However, since we have attended I have started as I find it helpful to retain as much info as I can. We have found the people to be friendly and very welcoming.
