I saw a couple of the negative reviews & wanted to say that no church is perfect. There are some challenges, like everywhere else but it is a place where they are aware of it. Yes, fellowship is a bit hard to do on Sundays but it doesn't mean there isn't any at all. I've made some friends there & participate in some of the functions. It's really a matter of people finding people. Pastors Phil & Mike T, are two who engage with people in the lobby. Others are not as outgoing but definitely approachable, kind & friendly. If you're looking for a reason to not go to this church, 100% you will find it but if you really want to find a church to attend, you'll find it at NJV. It was different than all the other churches I attended but I really love it there.

You can feel that the Holy Spirit is alive and at work here. The services are so good because the messages are rooted in the Bible, and everything is backed up by scripture. I felt such a strong pull to get baptized here, and I'm so glad I did. On top of that, the community is amazing. They have a group for everything, sports, specific interests, men's and women's groups, and every age from youth to young adults and seniors. I am in a couple groups and I now serve at this church in multiple ways. The reason so much growth happens here is because the foundation is Christ. This church is incredibly blessed, and it has been such a big blessing to me and so many others.

Located on Spring Street in Lodi, my partner and I came on the last day after several years absent to the annual festival held during Labor Day Weekend celebrating St. Joseph as a model of labor. Food is at the heart of any Italian feast, with vendors serving a mix of traditional Italian-American fare and regional specialties. A classic menu would be sausage and pepper sandwiches, zeppoles (fried dough), arancini (fried rice balls), pizza, pasta dishes, and cannolis. The air is often filled with music from Italian-American performers, folk groups, and tribute bands. There were carnival rides and games for family entertainment. All the boxes were checked, and we had a great time.

But its a lovely church with great pews. Very few obstructions so most can see the alter easily. Beautiful light in this church. The organ is a nice one, although not the biggest around, its well maintained and plays beautifully. All the florists in town know the church well so it always looks great when Im there. Easy and wheelchair friendly restrooms. Easy parking lot in the back.
