Which is really important to us since a lot of churches in our area do not have a "special needs" kids ministry available for my daughter. She feels comfortable and enjoys coming to church because the Champions Club teachers are patient and love all the kids. I love how they treat you like family from the very first time you attend church here and appreciate what they do for their community. I love how they've helped my family and I get closer to Jesus as well as to each other!! If you're looking for a church to find your home - come check them out at any of the two locations or even come to one of their community events (check out their events on their website: exp.church) You definitely won't regret it!

It's a very diverse and "come as you are" church. When I first came, I was fairly new to the area having moved so far from my family and my old church home, so I didn't really know anybody. I had attended a couple churches before I found Experience church, and when I first attended, I knew this church was special. Everyone was friendly, inviting, and genuinely interested in me and invested in my growth. I can be myself here and I have come to call Experience not just my church, but my family. I love the vision, their love for God, their love for the church, and just the atmosphere and culture they have created. God's presence is felt, I've found healing here, I've found community, and I've found freedom here. To sum it up in one sentence, Experience is a church full of love.

I'm out of town this weekend, and it's my day off. The normal church I go to, in San Jose is…read moreEcho.Church. Now, Echo.church is what you would call a hipster church. You know the type, the pastor has a bald fade, wears plaid, and Converse Chuck Taylors. So naturally, I looked up churches near by. I wanted to make sure that a church I'm visiting was my vibe. That hipster Vibe. I found Liberty Church on Yelp, and it had pretty good reviews. I then went to their website to gather more information. Indeed it was a hipster church. I arrived, and there is a miniature cafe to the left in their lobby. Bought myself a mocha with almond milk. Went inside and I'm in service right now, and it has a good mixture of all different types of people from all walks of life. Pastor Lonell is actually pretty funny, I really like that. Just FYI the church is in the same parking lot as a Walmart if you are trying to find it.

Liberty is a very caring, welcoming, non-denominational multicultural church that is Biblically based (keeping the Word in its context). The Pastors are all friendly, knowledgable on the Word, and clearly have a strong personally relationship with the Lord. They've all have done a lot for me and my family over the years! I'm very thankful that they teach the Bible to equip the whole congregation to demonstrate God's love right where we are planted (i.e. work, school, the gym, etc...). The church family is also very welcoming and caring. I've made many friendships where they have basically become my family over the years. Liberty Church enjoys demonstrating the love of God by doing participating in various activities locally and globally. There are various mission trips that Liberty sends around the world. I've personally been on one and it was an amazing experience to see God move! My husband also participates in local outreaches for the homeless and other activities. There are also small groups that you can participate in to further grow in your walk with Christ. Due to COVID restrictions here in California, sermons are currently online. On Sundays, at 9:30am is the English sermon and 11:30am is the Spanish sermon (for the Fairfield campus). Services are streamed on both Facebook and Youtube. For the Suisun City campus, services are on Sundays at 10am. Prior to COVID, church services were offered on Saturday and Sunday for the Fairfield campus. If you are looking for a new church home, pray about it and give Liberty Church a try!

Vibrant Place of Worship!…read more I've always heard of this parish (one of the only two Catholic Churches in Fairfield) since I was a wee lad, as we've had relatives & acquaintances from the time I was active in a Youth Group in San Francisco that made this place their home parish. Those acquaintances of mine were also involved here with their active Young Adults group which offers retreats called Upper Room Experience (URE). Not sure if they still have it due to the pandemic, but from attending mass here with my family for Father's Day - it felt comfortable with hospitable parishioners/church-goers alike. My parents didn't seem bored, either. Haha! The exterior may seem older and unkept near Downtown Fairfield, but don't let that deter you from coming in for a visit to say a quick prayer whenever the church is open during the week, or if you happen to be in the area on weekends, and needing to hit up mass! (They offer masses everyday, both in English & Spanish!) - and I must say attending Sunday Mass for the first time was on-point - beautiful interior (traditionally configured seating that makes the altar a central focal point), stained-glass windows that you can't help but look into their awestruck, beauty, liturgy & music was well executed, and the ministers (from the ushers, lectors & Eucharistic ministers) seem to be very well-organized! I would recommend to Holy Spirit in Fairfield - whether you come in solo, or as couples, families, retirees, even those in service (as Travis AFB is in the area) - if you're looking for a place for spiritual nourishment. Besides the masses, upon reading their bulletin after mass, there are so many ministries & organizations the parish offers for those who want to offer their time, talents, and treasure. I could also tell that the parish has been a historical part of Fairfield & Solano County - and they continue to move forward in so many ways. Keep counting your blessings, ya'll!

The message is always based on scripture and easily understood. I have been attending for awhile and grown in God through example of others and teachings. Everyone is invited to attend and be part of a group of people who like be God and want to worship together. New Life has an excellent children's program. Two rows ahead of me, and to the left was clearly someone who had sexual identity issues and I thought "Praise the Lord everyone's here everyone is welcome even those that perhaps hadn't quite found their way yet." After the service, I went to the Ladies Room and another woman and her 7-year old girl were there washing their hands and about to leave when a man walked into the bathroom with heavy 5 o'clock shadow, or a beard still present. He was wearing a dress or a skirt outfit and high heels. I'll never forget this experience for the shock stays with you long afterwards. This was a house of God! So I approached the pastor afterwards and relayed the event to him stating that women should feel safe going into the women's room and not accosted with this evil nonsense, and that I had never encountered a man in a women's bathroom before. He stated categorically and explaining to me that all the pastors in Vacaville had gathered together, and that the bathroom was going to stay as it was Welcoming such men into their bathrooms, and in the future, all bathrooms would accommodate such a situations. All could enter. I have never forgotten that day. How could I!? (You should've seen that poor little girls face.) I later found out that the pastor had lied, the pastors in Vacaville had not "gotten together" to discuss this. they had not approved of such nonsense, so I'm still shaking my head. Tolerance, gentleness, kindness and loving the wicked is one thing but Christians need to draw the line in the sand. Deeper! Because now today we have drag show productions going on in our elementary schools as I'm sure you've heard about. Do you see what I mean?

I know if I've got a problem, I can give any one of these people a call and they'll help me out. The music is contemporary with live musicians. The message is delivered via pastor with some powerpoint slides for Scriptures/audio or video clips. After service, there's always a fellowship time with some sort of food to munch on. There's a separate classroom for the kids and a nursery for the babies. There are also several bible studies throughout the week - a Sunday night group at 6, a Monday night women-only study (that meets at Favela's Fusion at 6pm), and Wednesday night meal-and-study (food at 6, study at 645). Come check Harvest out! I don't think you'll be disappointed!

I wasn't sure what I've been seeking but I believe I have found it at Harvest. I attended by myself for a few times before I had my 11-year old join me. I have never felt so welcomed by a church before. It's a very casual environment. I immediately thought of "come as you are", as my first impression. Everyone is very easy to talk to and truly welcoming. Very genuine. My daughter even joined the kids group, which is held during the service. She tends to stick by my side for all church gatherings. For one of the teachers to make the group sound inviting enough, ok so there were donuts as a factor, was nothing short of amazing. She had a really good time. She even sang some of the songs before going with the other kids. I enjoy the contemporary feel of this church. The music and the message are uplifting. It's small enough you won't feel lost in the crowd. There's a feeling of being connected. All are truly welcome. I am blessed to have found this church at this time in my life. ~Laura N.
