Govenaires has a thrift shop on Main Street in St. Peter. I had a horrible experience there with Kelly Henry this past weekend -- she yelled at me for gently touching a plant that was on display for purchase. I was hurting no one and nothing. She chastised me loudly and in front of several customers. I left the store and returned later and told her her behavior toward me was inappropriate and she owed me an apology. She became even worse, refused to apologize, and told me to leave the store and not disrespect her in front of customers. Not sure why she thinks she deserves some respect that she didn't have the decency to show me. Also, you know what people do with merchandise that's for sale in a store? They touch it and look at it. If you don't want people touching stuff, then you should lock it up or put up a sign or put it out of reach! But don't yell at customers that did nothing wrong! read more
