We ordered to go and the burgers were very good and a good size, but I would not recommend ordering the loaded fries to go, they were all congealed together and not really edible- perhaps it's different if you order it in house.

We both ordered the fish, which was lightly fried with cream sauce and boiled potatoes, it was very good, super tasty! The salad bar was ok, it's located behind the counter where you order and there's some selection but it gets a bit old by the end of the afternoon, the soup was great. You order upfront and then find a table to sit while they make your order and will bring it to your table. It overlooks the lake area and boardwalk area so there are some tables with a nice view and in the summer there's lots of outdoor patio seating, which is really cozy. Great spot for lunch when in town shopping etc

The salad area was very large and with a really lovely selection of fresh vegetables, cheeses, fruits and cold sides. Just the salad bar alone is a meal in itself. We went to the warm food area, and I must say, the selection was surprisingly large. There are meats and vegetable dishes as well as some warm sides. Don't forget the fresh out of the oven Naan! I will be coming back. I was pleasantly surprised with the taste profile of this food and the lovely spices. A few dishes were a bit spicy but not to where it isn't edible. Highly recommend!

This was our last meal in Gothenberg on our trip this spring and it was perfect. We started our meal with a shrimp salad with toast which was well seasoned and wasn't too creamy. My boyfriend ordered the seafood au gratin which had mussels, shrimp and fish. There was a good amount of veggie on it as well. My meatballs were luscious. The lingonberry sauce was the perfect tart addition to the creamy dish. This is what they're talking about when they're talking about Swedish meatballs! Overall great dining experience for a reasonable price!

The Cream of Mushroom soup was good, even though it didn't have a very strong mushroom flavor. My main dish was cod, which was described as lightly salted. I understand that "lightly salted" has no definition, and everyone's perception of saltiness differs - but for me, while the cod was perfectly cooked, it was also very, very salted, as well as most of the elements of the dish, with the exception of few pieces of potatoes. I guess someone simple went heavy-handed finishing the dish. Good, prompt and friendly service.

We decided to play it safe and try a local Tex-mex. We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of ingredients and authenticity at Pico De Gallo. I selected a trio of tacos. All served in a fried flour tortilla with cheese crispiness on the outer shell. I started with the garlic marinated shrimp taco -- loaded with pico, salad, roasted onions and guacamole. Seasoned beef -- cheese, red onion, lettuce, pineapple and topped with crushed nacho chips. And finished with the fajita chicken -- packed with grilled pineapple, salad, roasted corn, red onion and southwest ranch dressing. All very scrumptious!

I had the Hake special with melted butter and topped with shaved horseradish and little shrimps. It also came with the typical, and delicious, swedish potatoes. It was all very, very fresh and expertly prepared. My wife had the salmon with dill mustard and dill cream potatoes with a small salad of greens on the middle. This is a very typical swedish dish and the freshness was, again, very apparent. For dessert I had the creme brûlée and the wife had the dark chocolate cake with a raspberry compote. We were both scraping our plates for the final morsels. The staff was extremely nice and helpful (we don't speak swedish... Yet). This is a surprisingly fantastic find on this beautiful, peaceful island. Get the Gothenburg city card for free public transit (such as the ferry to the island) while visiting.
