Alright...since google won't show my review I'll post on here. First of all, I'd just like to say this is a great place and the owner, Ken, is a nice guy. My experience in no way reflects the character of him or the building itself. The targets are very nice and everything seems clean and well taken care of. Anyway, I came here recently to practice shooting my new recurve bow. I'm new to archery and I got an inexpensive bow to start out with. I'm in college and can't really afford anything better at the moment but I didn't think it would be a problem as the bow itself is great (to me at least) and is safe to shoot. Why would you want anything expensive if you're just starting off anyway? I was enjoying my time until I overheard one of the employees and two young guys making fun of me and my equipment. I think the two guys were regulars since they didn't pay to use the facility and seemed very familiar with the staff. They said numerous things such as "look at this fucking clown with that cheap ass shit" and "I bet that shit is straight from China", which it honestly is, loud enough so I could hear. One of the guys then approached me in a rather hostile manner to correct my form and told me to "straddle the line" in a shaky voice. I still don't know what that means but whatever. The guy was pretty lanky so I didn't exactly feel threatened like he'd hoped for but the whole ordeal was just uncalled for. I didn't even speak to these guys or the employee at any point while there...I literally just wanted to come shoot my new bow in peace on my day off without being bothered. With that being said, if you have an expensive name-brand bow you won't have any problems here and I'm sure you'll enjoy your time. read more
