He gave the best price, did not mess around, and gave an exceptional service. All 4 were very nice to me and my family. Highly recommended. They are probably cheaper than many running around, and if not cheaper probably have a better result. Our lawn after the trees and branches were removed was cleaner than when they started. They were not only the most reasonable quote for 2 tree and stump removals they were a pleasure to work with. These guys were respectful, kind, and fast. Two large trees in an hour flat. Hey our backyard they ensured my garden and our fence were not touched in taking down the tree. But after, they took a leaf blower and raked to clean up every dead branch, twig, dead leaves, saw dust from the entire yard. If it wasn't for the trees missing you'd never have know they were here. Stump guy comes by later today to remove the stumps and I'm expected it will be the same experience. Highly recommend this crew.

When Doug, the owner of Southfork Tree and Landscaping, came out to discuss the work I wanted done,…read morehe was down-to-earth, and I was encouraged by what he said about "doing extra" and making sure no mess is left behind. He explained what he'd do, gave me a verbal quote (it was a lot, but I had asked for a lot, and it didn't seem higher than it should be), took a few days to write it up, and returned with a written quote to review. While he hadn't captured our entire conversation on the quote, our continued discussion made me feel comfortable enough to proceed. I was not disappointed. He and his crew cut down a 50- to 60-foot hedge, ground it so it wouldn't return, trimmed up some trees, cut back and cleaned out some other bushes, cleaned up growth along my fence line, removed some landscaping stone (a lot more than either of us expected, as there was a ton in the hedge), removed a whiskey barrel planter, and told me how to take care of my mom's 55-year-old rose bush. The crew worked so hard, and the result was perfect. He added no charges for the surprise landscaping stone, and I was thankful. I recommend Southfork Tree, especially because Doug is hands-on. It's not one guy giving you a quote and hiring some other guys to do the work without supervision. You don't have to wonder if everything was communicated, because he's there, working the whole time. If he has questions, he asks. He doesn't assume. If you have questions, he's there to answer them. He makes sure it looks great. Because I know some companies use foreign companies or AI to write bogus reviews, I want to say this work was done in August 2026 on Peachwood Trail in South St. Louis County in St. Louis, Mo. (Oakville to be specific).

They were successful in removing the gigantic dead limb from a separate tree that loomed over the carport, as well as getting rid of shrubbery roots underneath so I could build my fence. They were kind enough to haul away all of the yard waste, but left me some good cut wood to burn in my fire pit. All of this hard work was done within just a couple weeks after I reached out during a busy holiday season, and at a very reasonable price. I will definitely use Southfork Tree next time I need some help.
