This menu is simple, but adequate. The service was slow and probably the least friendly we had in all of Portugal. There did not seem to be a wine list. The server brought me two bottles to choose from before asking if I wanted by the bottle or glass. They didn't have what I wanted by the glass, and he was less than helpful in offering something by the glass. He should have offered to let me try them, but he was very uninitiated. Be warned that while the interior and menu are modern, this is a CASH ONLY restaurant. It also took nearly 20 minutes to get the check after we were told they did not not take cards. At this point, we just wanted to get out of there. It really wasn't worth wasting our time when we had such a short time in the Algarve.

I decided to try it and drug a friend along and man was it tasty! The service was spot on and the photos show how cozy and warm the interior of the restaurant looks. It feels just as welcoming. We didn't have reservations so they had us wait. Attached is a hidden room called "The Library" super cool (see photos). We ordered wine and an appetizer and I would have been happy to eat dinner in this area. The food was so delicious, the garlic kale dish was so tasty and perfectly seasoned that I had to go look in a grocery store for a similar product. YUM. The steak was delicious and we decided two deserts...glad we did...delicious...go for it. I usually don't order dessert but it is worth the calories here!!! Yum, go, if you don't you're missing out.
