Wir haben mehrere Suppen und polnische Piroggen mit Quark, Kartoffeln und Fleisch gekostet und fanden alles super. Für einen Zwischenstopp kann ich die kleine Gaststätte mit polnischer Hausmannskost nur empfehlen. Die Bedienung war übrigens sehr nett und auch ganz ohne Englische Karte hat alles gut funktioniert.

This little village, deep in the Białowieża forest is something almost unknown in today's Poland - a place far from civilization, with only a few permanent residents. And only one restaurant - or rather an inn. Karczma Osocznika is everything you could wish for in this desolate place: delicious pierogi (or vareniky), solyanka, halushki and other Polish or Belarussian or Ukrainian traditional dishes. You won't get that in Warsaw. Or maybe you will, but not in this entourage - Budy is also sort of a heritage park, showing how the life looked in this parts in the olden days...
