Staff - The Hairdressers are excellent as they professional and very experienced and understand trends and willing to give suggestions. It makes a real difference when you can make yourself understood in English and they are able to converse with their customers. They are mostly on time. This is important. Unlike other salons, it is very annoying when you make an appointment and still having to wait for a while upon arrival. Glad we have found your salon.

This place is amazing. From the moment you walk in you are greeted by friendly, vibrant, personable staff and they really make you feel special. I had the I had the 'Luxury Facial' and it was truly amazing. 1 full hour of bliss. Sarah is a unique therapist who not only gives a beautiful facial, she is also a reiki master and I could feel the reiki coming through in her treatment. I have never experienced a facial quite like Sarah's and I have to say I am 100% hooked. My skin is glowing and feels so soft and hydrated. The products they use are sensational (I couldn't help but get some to take home). I will be back and can't speak more highly of this gorgeous team. What a beautiful environment you have created. The welcome at the salon is always friendly and professional. You're given a refreshing and relaxing Aveda herbal tea while you wait for your hairdresser. You will always been consulted by your hairdresser before they begin and these guys really take the time to listen but also have a point of view (I always like a professional opinion). Before your hair is washed a 'ritual' is performed where you get a scalp and neck massage with a beautiful oil. The only thing you should be warned about is that Luc Espace is a training salon which means that while your hairdresser will always do the cut, you will have somebody different wash your hair, or dry it. Mostly I have had good experiences but it can be frustrating at times. That said, I respect that they foster young talent so I keep going back. I recommend seeing Jordana for cut and Julia for colour.

The stylists there always consult with you to make sure that you're getting exactly what you want, my hair always looks stylish whilst still suiting me. A cut and style - for me, usually blow dry and straighten - takes around an hour with long hair. Basically, the only place on this earth that I would allow to put something sharp near my hair. Be aware that they do take appointments for children, but only after school and not on the weekends. But the staff are great with the children that come through :)

I only needed a trim and I only had about a half hour till I needed to pick up my partner. I don't want to wait and I don't think I'll make it if I drive to my other barber. Ok, let's give it a try. I walked into the salon, immediately was able to sit down in a chair and the lady asks me how I want it cut. I tell her I just needed a trim and she proceeded to cut my hair with ease and style. I was impressed. Since I was only spending $10 on the haircut I opted to have my hair washed and styled (only another $7). It was a good decision. I walked out feeling so fresh and so clean and was on time to pick up my beautiful partner.

We walked over to the shop and yep, there was a catch... it's now a WHOLE $12.00, still the cheapest hair cut my husband would ever have. We walked in and was greeted with about 4 salon workers, not really sure who worked there and who didn't as he was told to sit in 3 differant chairs. Mina herself is lovely. You'll always get a 'hello darling' in her thick Persian accent and she is always accommodating if you don't have an appointment. She is very quick which is great for the painless treatments like waxing. Her prices are really reasonable $15-$20 for eyebrows and $35-$40 for a Brazilian wax. She is a one-woman show who knows what she's about. I walked in and was immediately greeted by Mina herself who took me in immediately and gave a tsk tsk to whoever had previously butchered my eyebrow sculpting. She fixed me right up, dyed them for me which I'd never done before, and sculpted them to perfection. I'm actually excited to keep going back and having them fixed by her, she's experienced and extremely accommodating!
