This is a relatively new location for the Toks restaurant, and is quite nice…read more Part of a larger Shopping Center called Plaza Sendero La Fe right on the Miguel Alemán highway (near the Monterrey airport), there is plenty of parking. The ambience is very nice with classy modern decorations. There are large comfy booths as well as nice tables and chairs which can be re-accommodated for larger groups. The menu provides a large variety of options from salads and soups to sandwiches, burgers steaks, carne asada, antojitos mexicanos, and more. They have a great breakfast menu, and a large selection of drinks, juices, soft drinks, coffees and teas. They also have some wonderful desserts. There is an indoor children's play area so children can play while the parents chat. I have been here multiple times and have always found their service to be very good and staff to be pleasant. I usually order the caldo tlalpeño, but they have many delicious things from which to choose to satisfy your cravings. Toks consistently provides quality food and service and a great atmosphere to meet with friends and family. I always enjoy it and believe you will too.

I am pretty sure there is absolutely no marinading of the meats --- just frozen meat, from their supplier, to their freezer, to your grill. They do not serve rice with the meat combo dish. Anyway, I took pics of the meats. The meats were served before the appetizers, kind of strange.......We ordered mussels and calamari. The calamari was actually pretty good. The mussels we ordered were served on a portable gas grill that was set way to high, the mussels dish was boiling and overcooked the mussels, they were fishy tasting and rubbery. I've been here quite a few times and this time I went with my girlfriend at night (around 8:30pm). It was really empty, which is nice for me because we can talk, chill and have a good dinner. We ordered breakfast for dinner and it was really good, unfortunately the ran out of some dishes. The service was pretty good to, they were fast, nice and they delivered our food really fast (no more than 5min). I totally recommend this place, you can go at any time and they serve everything on the menu. It's quite packed at noon though.

At that moment I was so obsessed because the waitres never wrote anything down, so I told her I wanted the check and that we were gonna leave, she brought us the check with an upsetting attitude charge the first juice and the second juice with the dish that I did not ask nor I was gonna eat. I requested talked to another manager because at that point I was angry and hungry, the other manager understood right away, but he didn't want to make his staff feel bad so he just apologized, but the waitres and the other woman kept telling him that we needed to pay everything!!
