I was told that my dog WOULD NOT be allowed in "group play" being that he is over 7 months and not neutered. I took him to the vet to get the vaccinations required to be at daycare. At first I was happy to hear that an accommodation could be made for my dog to interact with humans and get out for some potty breaks. I only needed 3 hours to take an exam. I brought in his breakfast and came back 3 hours later to get my dog. When I walked in his food was still out in the lobby.... The employee or owner (unsure) who greeted me asked who I was there to pick up. I told her my dog's name and she said "wow he hasn't been here very long. I haven't gotten a chance to meet him yet." I thought that was bizarre... then what was he doing? 2 days later I received his "report card" which included the photo I posted below. My dog was in fact in group play. Not only could he have gotten another dog pregnant... he came home with kennel cough. Another vet bill later he is okay.... But still. What on earth are they doing in there? How many other "accommodations" are they making that aren't kept?? Maybe another dog didn't need to get a bordetella vaccination and that's how mine came home with it? I don't know but a 30$ stay for 3 hours (including the price to just make an account) plus over $300 in vet bills later. I'm not happy and would never recommend this facility to someone. I truly hope no one came home with puppies because I know that is a lot more than $300. PSA if your dog stayed here on July 14, 2025 they may also have kennel cough or be pregnant.

I've done it all here & can say they are the best hands down. They LOVE what they do & it shows from the moment you walk in to the moment you walk out. I would HIGHLY recommend Ridgeside you won't be disappointed. More info for those that care: We found out our new puppy was going to be delivered while we were out of town & we had no one in town to help us. I was freaking out. I didn't know what to do and the people delivering our new puppy were not willing to accommodate a different time to deliver our puppy. I was in a bind and they agreed to help us. We were brand new to their business & planned to board and train her at Ridgeside so we asked if they could help us and they agreed to go VERY out of their way to help us (they had to take multiple calls to arrange so many different things they even had to wake up very early in the morning & agreed to have my puppy delivered to their own house to make it all work out for us. I couldn't believe it, I was in a bad spot and they really helped show up for me & my lil pup which they didn't have to do. On top of that because my puppy was still young and hadn't had all of her shots she wasn't able to be around the other dogs at their facility (which was a good sign to me because jt showed they really care about the health and safety of all the animals they board) so they arranged for one of their staff members (Erica, who was also amazing) to watch our puppy at her own home and train her. Erica sent pictures, videos and updates during the 2 week puppy training which was really nice as well. The owners & the staff have been nothing but amazing.

I waited several days to decide what to say. I had an extremely negative experience with this…read morecompany. They offered me service dog training, with the first step being the puppy class (1800.00), then my puppy could move on to learn service work (a total of 4500.00). I am disabled and was grateful they offered this service. After puppy training, I met with the trainer (Andy), who does not listen and will not let you speak. He talked over me multiple times, and also told me my puppy was only partially trained and I would do the rest at home. Oh, and he forgot to work on recall. These folks were hired because of my lack of time to train my dog. I was shocked. Andy took my payment and then finally, after an hour of listening to his ranting, where it seemed he did not breathe between sentences, he brought me my puppy who I hand been missing terribly, (they declined to let me visit), who was very clean, but mostly untrained. Then I was told she was not fit for service. Andy could not explain it other than to talk about 7 lanes on a highway? I then began a panic attack and he kept talking (I have panic disorder which he knew). I had mentioned I needed help with being alerted to low blood sugar. He said it was nearly impossible and he would have to collect vials of blood from me multiple times a day. I asked how the other dogs were trained for diabetics. He did not know. I looked it up when I got home and learned Andy knew nothing about the subject. Saliva is what is used by service dog trainers. I believe he declined to train my dog because he does not know how. During the course of this fiasco, Andy mentioned how dirty and matted she was when they gave her a bath. He told me she arrived that way, which is untrue. She had been washed and brushed prior to drop off. I believe she got that way in their care (or lack of care). If you use this company to train your dog, I recommend recording ever interaction. The owner Mike, later denied me being told they would not train Sunday (my puppy) because of her young age. Lies come pouring out of their mouths. They scammed a disabled person. I am planning to take legal action. I sam certain they will make a reply too this and lie more. Feel free to look me up. I am a respectable local business owner.
