Goodwill on Bayless is a great place to find clothes! And this coming from someone who does not classify herself as a thrift store junkie, or someone who makes it a point to model their fashion sense on looking hipstery cool with my obviously thrifted clothes. I've gone to this location and the one on Forest Park ave a few times now and each time I've purchased several things I could wear on a night out or to the office. One of the more important things to note about Goodwill is that a lot of times you will find clothes that haven't even been worn, and seem to be overstock from Target or Walmart. From these items I usually buy workout shorts or t shirts, and dresses and skirts that while might not be the hottest things around they are good standard pieces, or building blocks that make great foundations to cute outfits for work, all for only 6 bucks or 4 bucks a piece. It used to be that you could find funny, ironic, vintage t shirts at goodwills and salvation armys but, not too much anymore now that specialty shops buy up these items and resell them at too high of prices (hello rag--o-rama) but it is good to know that you can still find great basics at less than bargain pricing. This location in particular is always nicely kept, and you don't have to worry about visiting in a seedy neighborhood. It is also nice because after stopping here you can drive down I55 and go straight to the other location on Lindbergh and Baptist Church, and if you dare, get back on 270 West and head over to the one on Watson, and make a complete Goodwill loop out of your morning, or Saturday afternoon! When I was here last it struck me that the section of these stores that houses the random miscellaneous objects makes for some pretty awesome pictures that are good for posting on Flickr. This time I focused on Barbie dolls, and how you always find them heaped together in a naked pile, whether it's in your own basement, a garage sale, or a thrift store, this is the way most Barbies seem to die.

Didn't have what I was looking for. Decent thrift store though. Can be pricey for used products.
