Friendly staff. Big bright store. Found some cool books today. Not sure if the book section was organized like a regular book store, but it appeared visually organized and inviting enough I looked thoroughly through all the hardbacks. Not that we need another travel or coffee table book, but hey, I could use some inspiration, plan our next day trips and longer vacations while hibernating. Are you kidding me right now Goodwill is charging 10 cents for a plastic bag to put your stuff in. You've got to be kidding me this place is supposed to be for people that are poor and want to go there to get good deals. They're not there to spend money on a freaking bag I don't care if it's 10 cents I don't care if it was a penny that's ridiculous. Plenty of parking. Staff was awesome, very nice. Store was clean. I looked at the dvds and purses mainly. Reasonably priced. DVDs were $1.29- 2.29. Purses were priced right. Definitely spent more then I expected because there were so many great things. read more

I love thrifting..alot in fact , this Goodwill location is a good one they have a great selection, staff is decent, fairly helpful too.

My personal opinion is that they want to make money more than they want to help the public. My shoes fell apart, woman on the phone said to bring them in with a receipt because I wore them, and I did, and the manager looked at me like I was absolutely insane. At what point is it about Goodwill and not about making a buck? Super sad about my experience and all I wanted was a pair of working shoes and a refund onto a gift card of $6.50 so I could find another pair or something that works. Very depressing! I just left the shoes and told the manager I will never return. The manager said "okay thank you"! Holy smokes!!! read more

This was one of the larger Goodwill stores I have been to so it took a while to make my way through it. I thought their prices were more reasonable than some of the Goodwills I have been to, at least on the items I happen to be looking at. I found the employees to be very pleasant and helpful. It was hard to imagine there was a Goodwill in the area I had never been to but I could tell I had never been to this one so I'm glad I found it. I will have to add it to my rotation if I get out this far from Chandler again on half-price Saturdays. I I happened to come here on Sunday, Mother's Day but I would definitely want to come back on a sale day. read more

This Goodwill is by far one of the best Goodwills in the area, everyone was helpful, and lending of a hand! It's funny I hear people always complain about prices going up, haven't they gone up at just about anywhere you go? Yea I'm thinking so. The store was very clean and appealing to the eye! They always have wonderful purses and shoes are perfect, the best day to go is on a Thursday- Thursday is $1 day, so whatever color the tag is that week those tags are only a buck! Can't beat that. I found an old book that was not priced. All the other hard cover books were around $3. I said there was not a price and the manager went to EBAY and priced it at that price, which was WAY more!!! It was obsurd!!! They get their items from donations!! read more

Goodwill prices have soared during covid. No 1/2 prices Saturdays anymore and even old broken and stained items are selling for more that they originally cost. Staff here is the worst too. Shame that a non profit that the community supplies with inventory has come to just another money grubbing racket that doesn't help poor people and gives employees opportunities to abuse people and insult people at the register after waiting in huge lines while management stands around. Do not donate or round up for their job training program. I no longer take items to Goodwill. Plenty of other thrift stores that don't do people like this company does. read more

Wow if you want to get children's books for 8 bucks goodwill is for you! No point at shopping at these stores. I can get stuff at a better place online. Usually from goodwill online. The average person won't have any luck shopping these poorly managed stores. They treat the employees like garbage. Managers take more time looking stuff up online then keeping the stores clean. All Goodwills blow. They do little to help the community. They cash in free stuff and are often overpriced. Worst part is that their electronics almost never work and board games and puzzles are missing pieces. They tried selling a toy gun that was broken in half! I asked if I could just have it to try to take it home and fix it and they told me no they had to throw it in the garbage! That's really thoughtful and environment friendly, guys! I visited that store 2 days ago and saw some nice pillows, I called the store and the person who answered, was not nice at all...I asked her if she could hold them, because I'm coming from Phx and she didn't let me talk, she was very rude!!! I tried to ask if the pillows still there, so I don't drive there for nothing, but seemed like she was in a hurry. She told me to just come to the store. I'll never donate to Goodwill again, terrible customer service!!!! read more

I was recently in there trying to purchase a couch and was told I wasn't supposed to remove the tag very rudely( I didn't know) Then they proceeded to have me wait and talk about me removing the tag then proceed to say how they were closing soon and how everybody needed to leave the store. It was just too much. Everybody sounded so miserable and unhappy very upset with this experience. This was my first and last time going to this Goodwill. read more

Absolutely horrible. I went in with a few friends and we ended up finding an electronic basketball hoop that hangs on a door. It had none of the balls and the electronics did not work. It was priced pretty high at $14 so we got a hold of one of the workers. She was very nice and told us she'd get a manager since prices were out of her control. We watched her walk upfront and call for a manager. After 10 minutes she walks back over to ask if anyone had help us seeing how we were still standing at the hoop. No one had came, she ran to the back and after another 5 minutes finally a manger comes. It was a short, curly red headed woman who clearly had no interest in us as customers. After a minute of making us feel like a hassle she walks away and then a different manager comes to help. We ended up just changing our mind by the time he came since we clearly didn't feel the desire to support this store after. The first manager to come out took almost 20 minutes to give us less than a minute of being aggravated and rude. I, as a customer, just wanting to buy something felt/feel discouraged to even come back after this incident. read more

Not sure what has happened to this store but the prices keep going up and the quality down. They used to have blouses and such organized by colors and now they're all just hung randomly and going every which way making it hard to even look at what they have. I visit here about once every 6 months and always a disappointment. This location's pricing is much higher than the other Goodwill locations nearby . Expect to pay over retail and even over EBay pricing on collectibles; their pricing is based off things sitting in overpriced EBay stores, not completed listings. Great store with okay prices. A few months ago they raised the prices on everything in the store and it really put a sour taste in my mouth because it was right after I saw a national news story about how they pay some of their workers with disabilities around $0.22 an hour. I do not understand why their prices need to be so high at this location. I LOVE going there and finding all kinds of fun things, but awhile back I found a USED "combination lock" for $3.99 and while I was in the store I looked up on my phone the prices online and found that same lock selling NEW for a few cents cheaper. I love going there and will keep going there I just have to be more choosy on what I buy. P.S. the staff is AWESOME here! they are VERY friendly and you can tell they all work extremely hard. read more

My 10 year old daughter found a $1 bill at this store on the floor. She really was excited and wanted to keep it (she is trying to earn money to donate to a dog rescue) but thought she should tell the store in case someone else lost their $1. The store took the dollar from her and put it in as a donation to the store. They never offered to let her keep it or ask if they could keep it or anything similar. They then said, "Thanks for letting us know." Right after, they said, "Would you like to donate a dollar to our program." I was so irritated and annoyed that I replied, "I just did!" Don't ever ask me to donate extra again... as far as I'm concerned anyplace that does that to a kid (especially one that is honest and trying to do the right thing) will not receive any extra donations from me again. That $1 that they took from my kid will turn into multiple dollars not donated to them again. Really poor ethics. She found money once before at a gas station and it was literally on the counter. She asked the gas station if it was theirs or if it belonged to someone so that she could give it to where it belonged. The gas station was wonderful and said that it wasn't theirs and that she was allowed to keep it. I'm glad some places respect an honest kid. read more
