Give yourself a couple of hours to really take your time to look through everything because they do have a little of everything. There is a large outdoor area and larger indoor area and it's all packed! I can't wait to go back. I only wish it was closer to OKC. I found several vintage items to turn into candle holders and planters, vintage house coat and even a 50's flower covered hat! I mean really, where can someone find all that in one place other than Mike's! It's fantastical! Oh, and it's all well priced.

Open Tuesday-Saturday, from 9am to 1pm (2pm on Saturday!) this small store contains the ever flowing "extras" from the Ft. Sill community. Everything from clothing to furniture, with a small selection of toys and collectables tossed in, this is a true treasure hunt. It is volunteer run, and most of the ladies are on the older side, so you will have to pick things up and move them around on your own. It is well worth the time and the effort, though. On my last visit I tried out three recliners priced below $60, two dining room sets priced at $150, and a fondue pot for the low price of $10. If you are new to town and are looking for a bargain, they probably have what you need. Just remember to return the favor and drop a few things off on your way out of town, and the cycle will continue! Sadly, The Thrift Shop is open only to military ID card holders.

I'm a long time Goodwill shopper, but I only visit this location on occasion when I'm in the area…read morevisiting family. I love to get out of my usual thrifting bubble, some times you can find the coolest things in a different area than you're from. I've never had much luck with things or clothing from here, but they always knock it out of the park on shoes! Last visit I left with a designer pair of heels and I lucked out again this time. It's rare for me to find shoes in my size, in good condition and that I like. The fact that it happened twice has made me a believer! There are also lots of great shoes that aren't my size too. Two small complaints though, first the shoes at my local good wills are $2.99 across the board on the show racks. They put nicer shoes in glass counters and those cost more. Here they are all prices differently. The pair I found today was $9.99, which I know isn't a lot but they still a lot for used shoes that still has Ross stickers on them. I'm sure they weren't more than $25 new at Ross. Second complaint is they wouldn't take my discount card. I paid for a Goodwill discount card at the beginning of the year and thrift stores that aren't even goodwills will honor it. They wouldn't here because it was the wrong color. This may be an issue with Goodwill HQ, but I should be able to use my card at any store.
