Quite a few times, I have heard from music playing with AWFUL lyrics with constant CUSSING and CURSE WORDS. I don't enjoy shopping while hearing "Fuck You" lyrics blasting in the background. Children are in the store and shouldn't be exposed to such words, in my opinion. I hope the managers/supervisors take notice and stop this from continuing. It's a FABULOUS place to shop with WONDERFUL items/clothes.

Angelwood didn't change much about the physical establishment, seemingly even keeping many of the same fixtures. In comparison, goodwill seemed to have a greater variety of items to view/purchase from. Angelwood seemed to be more of a large item (furniture/sporting equipment/home goods/children's toys/cooking items/holiday decor) donation center. With that being said, it was somewhat difficult to push a shopping cart around in the store because of the multitude of large items placed on the sales floor. Maybe bring your baby stroller in if you've got a baby with you, as opposed to a shopping cart! Items were fairly well organized to allow for maxim exposure/sell thru on the sales floor. Employees, with the exception of the cashier, were non-existent. Sales floor was as clean as a typical thrift store is. Attempted... not perfected!

I love the thrill of the hunt (even though sometimes I don't even know what it is I'm looking for!)...and if you can't get enough of old stuff, vintage stuff, funky stuff, rusty stuff...this is your mecca! Located in a huge old warehouse, and only open the first weekend of every month, you will find what you were looking for and more! The building itself has such charm, how could it not hold such wonderful curiosities within? I've visited Cool Stuff Vintage a few times now. The contents are constantly changing, but always something you just have to have! How do these people know? I think its because they are collectors themselves. Just a sampling of what I saw during my last trip this month...60's/70's lunchboxes...a small cardboard doll house w/tiny plastic people & furnishings, maybe from the 50's...vintage fabric galore...a huge heavy outdoor bar set I would give my eye teeth for if I had could afford it and had a place to put it! Cool vintage Tupperware...Elvis posters...not to mention some colorful groovy plastic 70's chairs...good ol rusty valves and antique doorknobs...lovely real leather messenger bags, used just enough for that "broken in" feeling and look...I could go on and on! I've also gotten great deals on high end items and most are new with tags. The girls are super sweet sometimes I go in just to say hi. I highly recommend this place is you're looking to sell gently used luxury items, or you are in the market to class up your wardrobe.
