As the previous reviewer noted, it is clean and orderly. We were looking for metal "things" to hang silverware from to hang outside as wind chimes. We have made several before, as gifts, and folks love them. As far as trying a radio, or any other electric/electronic device....they have a three foot power strip on the wall at the back of the store. I personally would never buy it without trying it. This location makes it easy and fast to drop off donations. The staff is friendly and handles donations with care.

This is probably one of the better Goodwills I've been to in the state. It's a little brighter and cleaner than most, is fairly well organized and orderly, and has a fairly wide selection of goods. On our visit we were specifically on the hunt for a boom box with a tape player for my boyfriend's dad to use at the family's campsite. They had a surprising number of options, and we were able to score one for about $10. We did ask if we could plug it in to test it, but that's apparently against the rules. For $10 we decided to gamble and it all worked out, but it's a little silly they wouldn't let us make sure we were good before we left. Oh well. Another choice/random find was a Journey tour t-shirt, so thank you to whatever Rapids resident decided to go their separate ways from that. read more
