Unlike their competition from another service, ( sunflower), Rosewood has more success in this very difficult nonprofit entity, yet they have an excellent staff from top to bottom, starting with the CEO. is very pleasant, and she is assessable to employees, the residents, as well the ability to communicate with anyone! She is a forward thinker, has good judgment skills along with being approachable to all staff and residence I have personally experienced the day to day work being done by employees and staff. I was doing contract work for her 3 months, and even though I wasn't involved in the employee job duties, I was involved in many aspects with the residents and I was surprised by the projects ie; building their own furniture (they have a store, right on main street. Here they are able to be a positive influence in the business community. Other areas in which residents are being productive are the diverse work they are allowed to do. They are being instructed by key staff members and are overseen for their own safety as well as others. I can honestly say they have a great thing going in a sometimes stressful, and difficult administration, but again they have many other activities outside the shop! I had to make this brief, for now, however if anyone would like to check it out or have a person they care about dearly, then I believe Rosewood is the place to start!
