Went in and found a painting my wife and I loved that had no price tag. It had a gash in it that was patched with tape but we were still willing to purchase it. A man took it into the back and priced it for $40!!! We immediately offered to put it back where we found it. I later picked up a battery operated skill saw that had nothing covering the blade but a piece of tape (a common theme here). It was completely operational and anyone could have picked it up and ran it. My immediate thought was of someone's kid playing with it and cutting their hand open so I promptly took out the battery and set it back on the shelf. Overall this location is overpriced for what you're getting, and the lack of common sense the employees/management have is very frustrating. Goodwill runs solely on donations so there is absolutely no reason for things to be priced how they are other than blatant corporate greed. read more

This is the only Goodwill in town and it's better than some of the stores in Eugene. They have a good selection of pretty much everything and the store is clean and organized. The employees are nice and respond quickly to the bell when you need a dressing room. The prices are alright, better than in Eugene. I was able to get two sweatshirts and a paint bottle for less than $10 thanks to the color tag sale. The bathrooms are clean and not coded and the parking lot is big with ample spots. It's easy to get in and out of even on the busy street. I stop by here every time I visit Florence and I don't see that changing any time soon. read more

I purchased a stereo receiver for my parents. To make a long story short, it didn't work and they would not give me store credit or a refund. Just an FYI, I did some research and found that goodwill executives make millions on the backs of people who work for less than minimum wage due to a loophole in the law. Buyer beware and don't patronize this type of business. St. Vinny's is just down the street. read more

My first time visiting this goodwill & the first thing that caught my attention was they had TWO discount color tags to look out for! One was for 50% & the other for 75% which is amazing! The employees were also super nice. I was holding a few items in my hands & an employee came up to me and offered to grab a cart for me. I felt like their woven basket selection & books were great! Best Goodwill store in Oregon. I found to many things that I needed and some things I loved so much, even though I didn't need it, I spent my entire budget for shopping at this location. Love that they have Halloween stuff year round. read more

The manager of the store called me and made good on this situation. I had taken the goodwill card as it Was my only choice at that time. Despite me telling her I took the Card and gave it to a needy person, she still offered to send me a full refund check. Very nice of them. read more

I purchased a sewing machine, cleaned it up, oiled it, still it did not work properly so I brought it back to the store the next day with the receipt. No returns and no store credit offered. Wow! This is just the CEO taking advantage of a situation further lining there own pockets. You take donations but not returns? That's bullshit!! read more

Okay, first off, I dont want to sound like a prude! With that said I just want to offer my HUGE thank you to one of your employees, and I am hoping I get her name right, Trish? We got to talking and I found out she lived in Hawaii a few years back, so that led to another conversation, (prude part), I asked her why do YOU work at a Goodwill, with your education and people skills you must be a manager?? She said she is just an hourly (minimum wage, i think) employee, and that FLOORED ME! Goodwill... Pull your head out of your wastebaskets, and GIVE THIS GIRL A RAISE! It takes a lot to impress me, and this woman impressed me and my husband by her knowledge of the products, store, and if you don't help this lady out, I just may steal her from you! Well organized and great selection. Needed some last minute kids clothes for a camping trip and found just what I needed.

First off I would like to commend them on hiring people with mental disablities, I am a huge advocate of company's doing that. So 5 stars just for that. The only thing I wasn't happy about was the overpriced books. $5.99 for a thrift store book?? But I did score a SD Padre visor with Tony Gwynn's signature sewn in it. I would go back again, maybe steer clear of the book section though. read more

I'm not sure why one of the reviewers was talking about a sandwich. There's no food sold at any goodwill store that I'm aware of and this one is no exception. In any case, the place is clean, tidy and has a lot of hardworking employees. Who also happen to be very nice people. The guys in donations are the coolest tho. read more
