Pros: Easy to get to just off of Hwy 270 Sawmill exit. Located in the same building as Ollie's and Big Lots with a large parking lot. Seniors get 20% off on Wednesdays. The prices seem decent. Cons: Items are jumbled together, piled on top of each other. On one hand, children's books has its own section. On the other hand, there are several large bins filled to the brim with books that have no order at all. I wonder what books are on the bottom. I did find some books in pristine new condition but then picked up a book that was wet. I may be back if I am in the area and it's Wednesday. read more

Not the best Goodwill I've been to, as their selection isn't very big and often cats tend to block aisles. However, it's interesting that this one still carries VHS tapes as the location by my house doesn't. read more

Came here looking for some decor for my new apartment and wanted to leave almost instantly. When you first walk in, it's very dim which I usually don't mind, but it was odd coming from sunny outside to such a gloomy store. Once inside, it was practically impossible to find anything. There were no employees around, and all the items were just thrown on top of each other. Very loose organization, and since it was so busy, it was impossible to see all the miscellaneous items of the shelf. I kept feeling like I would get trampled at any second. I had several donations to drop off and drove into the donation lane. I had a twin bed antique bed frame (headboard and footboard) I was struggling to get out of my car, in the rain. A man (employee) started waving his hands and shaking his head. I was startled and wasn't sure what the problem was (maybe i hadn't pulled up far enough, the item was getting wet?)He was very angry and I finally asked, "You don't accept bed frames?" He angrily said NO. I had other items to donate, but left instead. I had read online the things that are accepted and this was on the list. I used to like this location since they have a large book aisle, lots of furniture and a good amount of other items. However, I haven't been here in about a year and when I stopped in today it was awful. The whole store is overrun with items that are just shoved on top of each other with no concern for viewing or safety. Pulling one item could EASILY pull down several items if not start an avalanche of things. Most items were damaged due to the way they were set out, especially the dishes, glassware and ceramics. I also was appalled at the prices of every day items, not just vintage ones. I saw several resellers while browsing so I guess that's why but it's clearly not helping them move regular merchandise since it's all adding up on the shelves. While I love thrifting and a good Goodwill trip, this location has really been let go. read more

Compared to other GWs this location has reasonable prices and a decent selection. It may be messier than other locations but is not a deal killer. Decently organized. I will be back. Go check it out. read more

Not a good atmosphere, I hardly ever come to this location for that reason,but being in the area wanted to give it another chance, I had a brand new backpack just bought in another store,and I was hoping to ehch it for another item, we're talking about $5.99. The story is big and messy, all employees that I had encountered are walking with sour face, many plates are chipped because they are all on top of mug,pans,other cookware. I found two items totalin $5.99 and asked i I could make an even exchange,the cashier said that they don't accept any. That means that the manager is making his/hers own rules, I had never heard of such thing, with the receipt and from the store that's 10 minutes away. I am done with them. read more

I've been in a thrifting mood lately, so stopped by the Sawmill Rd. Goodwill today to see if anything jumped out at me. This is the 2nd or 3rd time I've been to this location. It's kinda hard to miss if you're not looking. For landmark purposes, it's right across the road from Chipotle. I have to say I really wasn't impressed today. The store is on the smaller side and when you think of a Dublin Goodwill you're thinking ooooh this must be chock full of great clothes and household items. Well I will say the clothes "may" be a tad nicer than oh let's say the Goodwill here in Marysville, but really nothing to faint over. They have a few isle's of glassware, wood items, trinky trash type stuff, books and small selection of end tables or cheapy bookcases. I highly doubt I go back to this location. I'm still hard pressed to find a better thrift store than the Volunteers of America near the corner of Rome Hilliard and Rt. 40 (W. Broad). If you know of any other good ones, message me. Have been shopping through Shopgoodwill.com. Shop the Columbus Goodwill site so do not have to pay shippiing. Even though the pictures are not good and do not show the items well and the listing descriptions leave much to be desired, have continued to shop with precautions. About 2 weeks ago, purchased a NWT London Fog men's top. Did not fit the description and hard to see pictures since item black and dark grey. Item had white stuff on it in several blotches and places. When wrote, was told they would give back maybe my original price but not tax, or their $3.50 handling price on every item. Today went to pick up four orders with over 8 items. Had written down order numbers with items in each order. As the young man gave me the items, would check off each. As he finished and was walking back to the store, I stopped him and told him 3 virtual reality googles were missing. He told me he would check. Later returned, and I asked him why he did not mention anything was missing when he was leaving or when I arrived. Told me they could not find the googles; his boss A** told him to just take out what he had and see if I missed anything. Very disturbing. Always make a list and always check off each item in each order and check the condition. This is not the way to do good business. read more

prices are super low compared to other goodwills and it's ALWAYS stocked full of items and resellers! you definitely gotta nudge your way to the fresh carts because they grab all the good stuff. not sure who prices the items but they give alway ALOT of good items. example, seems like all shoes are set price but other goodwills mark up name brand shoes. ‍ I'm not sure why this location has a ton of inventory compared to canal Winchester or brice road. maybe they should have workers watch Dad planet you tube videos and see what he makes off of this goodwill. read more

I've donated household goods and clothes here on multiple occasions and have always had a pleasant experience. The drive up to the donation door is double wide so it's easy to get around the slo-pokes who take their time to say thanks and good bye to every last item Marie Kondo style. There's usually a shopping cart there to load your stuff but almost always a helpful worker will help unload and take it away. Although they still ask if you need a receipt, thanks to tax reform, I no longer need to collect them. read more

I used to frequent this location on a regular basis. They moved to a new larger space in a spot that was a billiard table store. The new space is dark and not well organized. You need to have time to pick through the mountains of stuff piled on the shelves. Rarely find good brands at this location. It is interesting that they are in a larger space and it is less organized. Prices went up after the move as well. Rarely shop there any longer and usually come out empty handed. read more

I went in looking for a cake pan. I saw a set of plates. Each plate was priced but one plate had packing tape all over it. I asked the manager if they would be willing to take less for that plate. She said no not under any circumstances. She said we do not negotiate price. I was confused because I know other Goodwill stores do. Why would I pay the same price for a perfect item as I do for one that I am going to have to work to make work. I left it all and left. I think if the manager had said it nicely I probably would not have been so confused and feeling like they didn't need my business. I have negotiated at Lowes for things that were not perfect. I just.. I don't know. I really don't like the thrift shops I've seen out here so far. The worst part was seeing the best products up front for auction, leaving all the lesser items on the floor. Really took a huge part of the fun of coming up on a treasure away from me. I wish I could give it a better score, but I literally couldn't find anything. That's a rarity. read more

I had high hopes, and enjoyed my first hour browsing amongst the items with my dad when a lady who worked there came up and told me that I wasn't allowed to be near my dad because of the social distancing practices. I can understand not being around strangers but I feel in this situation I had all rights to stand with him. I did as the lady asked and walked away from him, feeling embarrassed and upset. Only then to turn around and see a group of four girls who seemed to be enjoying their time at the same bin along with the same lady happily laughing with an elderly couple who were standing together, no one else was spoken to just us. read more

I will never use Goodwill Columbus anymore. I had furniture for donate and was told to leave out if i could not be available so I did. Not only did they not take the furniture that they made me leave out on my back porch. They threw it out in the trash by my place. So, instead of calling me and letting me know they couldn't take it and allowing me to find somewhere else for it to go. they broke it and threw it away. There was nothing wrong with the furniture. No stains, no damage, or anything that would lead them to trash it. My friend was the one that called me going "Hey why is your leather couch and chair in the trash?" Next time I'll just sell my stuff than donate. read more

Possibly it is just that my personal tastes reflect what this store offers. I don't know. I always find some funky and fun stuff here on the cheap. I have to agree with the previous reviewer -- it seems to me that most Goodwill stores don't really reflect the neighborhood around them. This one is tucked away next to a rug outlet. It is pretty small and definitely lacking in the housewares and furniture departments, which is primarily what I am looking for in a thrift store. It's not really worth a special trip if you don't live in the area. read more

This Goodwill usually has a nice selection of stuff but it always seems busy. The last two times I have been here, I have had to wait for awhile. I guess this tells me that this place does well and they have enough stuff that people want to buy. I found a china cabinet here that was really nice and the workers helped load it. It is not that clean inside but it is on average with other Goodwill stores. read more

I go to most Goodwills in every town we travel. This one is really NICE. The prices were reasonable, and especially the Furniture. If I lived locally, I would definitely have bought the Love seat I saw in new condition for only $ 29.99 Very nicely organized, and all around good deal. My only complaint is trying to get into that shopping plaza to the place was real hard coming from it being on the left side. NO good traffic signs, or light right there. Oh, but the books in my opinion are over priced. Paid $ 1.49 for a used paperback. ( I normally won't) read more

I shopped at this Goodwill before they relocated a few weeks ago. It was always fun and I rarely left empty handed. However, since they have moved, this new store is a big disappointment due to the fact that there is a big increase in the price of the merchandise. But more upsetting is the fact that I can no longer find any of the collectible items I once was able to purchase! I can't figure out why these items are no longer making their way to the store's shelves?? I do not buy the excuse that "this is what is being donated"! After numerous disappointing shopping trips, I now rarely walk into your store. I hope that a higher up management person will get to the bottom of this drastic change and make things once again a fun and fair experience for all customers.... I received a call from someone at this store a few weeks ago. Though I am pleased you took the time to call me, I have seen no changes/ improvements in regards to my concern.
