On this visit I found a pair of beautiful mens black suede boots in great condition for the price. Then I found a second pair of mens black leather boots fully lined in leather on the inside, too which made it an excellent buy. Then I found a pair of blue suede unisex vans sneakers and a pair of new J crew boyfriend style jeans for $8 bucks. This was a great buy and I look forward to shopping here again in the weeks to come. Another great thing is that you can exchange things from another Goodwill location which is a bonus! I think this store has the best selection of items and your bound to find something here. I give this Goodwill at Kelly Johnson Blvd 2 thumbs way up!

This store is very well organized, and they have a pretty decent selection of basically everything…read more The main disappointment of coming to this " thrift store" is that the prices are set at the cost of what you would normally pay if you were to go to budget box stores. If I wanted to pay $12-$30 for some jeans that I would just go to a regular store. Part of the fun of coming to a thrift store is finding clothes that fit for a reasonable price. Just because it has a label on it that indicates that it's a " name brand" doesn't mean that you should price it at the namebrand price. Are you trying to get rid of the clothes or not? Are you trying to move merchandise so that you can raise more money to fund your education programs but not disenfranchise those that don't have a lot of money to purchase clothes? Thrift stores are not stores just for people who don't have a lot of money, but I would almost bet that the majority of people that shop at thrift stores need a little helping. So, pricing things at close to retail leaves a bad taste in some people's mouth including mine, especially since there's several other thrift stores within close proximity of this store that have bigger inventories and better prices.

For a store that supports a women's drug & alcohol rehabilitation program, all of the…read morefront-of-store employees either look or smell like they partake in habitual drug use while on the clock. I had hoped it was an off day the first time shopping there, but the staff is consistently stoned out of their minds time and time again. The front-of-store employees also seem to cherry pick the items they put on the floor for themselves to keep. How are you claiming to support people who are trying to better themselves while your whole staff is intoxicated? Only 1 gentleman offered me assistance, and he worked in the back of the warehouse. He was polite and addressed my concerns in a respectful, helpful manner. All the other employees were either missing or too busy chatting with each other. Sometimes I'm able to find some good things at this Goodwill but again the customer service needs…read moreimprovement. I asked a simple question. Can I return or exchange something here from another Goodwill. I asked it two different ways and sadly the cashier could not answer me that question. It's not a big deal, but it just makes it hard for customers to do this kind of transaction if they don't have the correct information. What this tells me is, I will have to go back to the original Goodwill that I bought said item at and return it/exchange it there. If you don't have any return or exchanges to do then, I think that this Goodwill is fine for finding what you may need. And one thing to keep in mind, everything is crammed onto the racks, and it is a little hard to sort through. Even though the prices aren't that bad, I think they would do well to lower them to get stuff moving. If you're in the area, you might wanna check this Goodwill out. It's not their best store, but it's also not the worst.

Prices are okay, some items I noticed were priced as much as brand new but most items I found were about $5. I perused the purple tag items that were prices for $2, and actually found a few things! Oh, I found a POL shawl for $8. On the day of my visit the yellow tags were half-off and the green were thirty percent off. I deducted a star for pricing being a little all over the place, and the fact that there's NOT a changing room. I need to see what the return policy is, but I'm guessing it's store credit only. I would hope it's at least store credit since there's no way to try clothes on before buying so you can't really know how it really looks on. Another star was deducted because as we walked to the front entrance there was a homeless man cursing everyone out and threatening us. Apparently he was asking for money but since he was obviously on drugs he was mumbling and no one understood what he was saying. It shook me up because he said something about my baby and started to walk towards me with his hands out like he was going to use violence. But he kept on walking past me, thankfully. We told the cashiers inside but they acted like it wasn't a big deal. We were told by a sheriff that he is usually posted up at the McDonald's across the street.

Sweaters were $6-$7 regardless of name brand or condition. Which is good and bad. Our Goodwill gets a ten year old GAP sweater that still has tags and thinks it's worth $15. So there's that. Boots were at least $15 and shoes $10. I did find some items though and enjoyed browsing and "Goodwilling" here while out of town!

This one, you can simply drive up, and someone will come out to help you unload your car. Or you can simply deposit things in the outside bins. Very efficient. They have the tax donation receipts outside, so you can just grab one instead of waiting for someone to bring one to you. Parking is convenient. I prefer donating to ARC as opposed to Goodwill or the Salvation Army because reasons.
