The people who work here have all been very kind and helpful. It's not the nicest thrift store,…read morebeing a little rough around the edges, a little dirty, a little darker than I'd like, and in some areas quite chaotic/messy. The changing room is large and has good mirrors, but the floor feels dirty enough that I don't want to walk in sock feet in there. Bathrooms are available and serviceable. Prices, honestly, are hit or miss. There are som very good deals to be had--like the leather stacked heel boots I got for $3.99--but most clothing is priced by signage and this leads to situations where you want a simple unlined spaghetti strap dress but it's from a rack where everything is $8.99, or where a basic tee and a silk shirt are the same price. Some other prices are just outlandish, like how plant pots that were maybe $8 new are for some reason priced like $14.99? (Someone seriously has it out for the planters here, because I've seen this multiple times.) If you don't mind digging around, there are some good housewares, random tools, that sort of thing in big messy boxes at the back of the store, but this is one of those establishments where I bee-line to particular sections (kitchen wares, clothing/shoes) and don't bother looking at much of the rest of the goods because they're so chaotically "organized", are largely unpriced, and have a tendency to sit for ages so that new stuff gets lost in the piles of old stuff you already saw months ago. Baby clothes, for instance, are packed into boxes atop a clothing rack where they create a bit of an avalanche when you try to look through them, and many of them are a bit worn or stained, which in the low light can be hard to catch. The end cap of that rack is covered in miscellaneous stuff rattling around in big Tupperware bin without rhyme or reason. I think they'd do well to create a better system for rotating their wares, so it doesn't stack up as it does over time.

Certain areas/vendors are well kept and organized while other areas of the building look like a hurricane rolled through. Prices range from very reasonable to extremely expensive! I'm sure this is due to having quite a few different vendors renting spaces to sell their wares. There's something for everyone, from small Knick knacks to furniture and everything in between. Recently they implemented a new fee to customers for using a credit card. I'm not a fan of this, but it seems to be the trend these days. Service is usually pretty good, the cashiers will hold items for you while you continue perusing the different areas of the store.

The old lady who probably owns the place or at the least manages it walks by and SNATCHES it out of his hands. We are standing right there, and I tell her next time she can speak to a parent and not snatch things from a child. Instead of apologizing she says we can shop somewhere else and escorts us to the front. We abandoned our buggy and the items we had collected to purchase. At the front she wants to make a scene and I remind her not to touch someone else's child. He wasn't being rowdy or destructive. He was holding a wooden item. It was in reach of him, as they were displayed on the floor. Why she felt the need to snatch aggressively from a child is beyond me. His parents were standing there and paying close attention to him. The snatch was aggressive enough to have moved his body forward. Disgusting behavior from a nasty old woman.

I finally came to Marcus Point today, and I will definitely be back! We bought 3 full bags bursting with clothes and only spent $75, and so many of those items were nice brands with the tags still on! Nothing was overpriced, everything was well-organized, and I was so wowed with the furniture quality and selection: solid wood pieces and nice furniture for $30-$70! To top it all off, Ms. Renee was a total sweetheart and we enjoyed chatting with her while we tried on clothes and checked out. This place is lovely! The current owners have operated this mall for 3 yrs, although the building has been an antique store for MANY additional years. Its hours are 10 AM to 5 PM Monday thru Sunday, although hours vary on holidays. Currently, there are approx. 48 vendors who have vintage & antique merchandise housed here. Check out this business's FACEBOOK PAGE to get a feel for the vendors & their booths; pics of some "new arrivals" (AKA merchandise) are regularly posted. Management very quickly responds to FB messages. According to the owners, patrons will find the following here: "antiques; farmhouse decor; Primitives (pre-Industrial Revolution); DixieBelle chalk paint; furniture; handcrafted items; home decor & more." I have spent the last 6 yrs antiquing throughout the state, often w/ two former antique dealers. This shoppe has INCREDIBLY LOW PRICES on most items (at least upon my visit)-- easily the lowest prices I've ever encountered. The two ladies @ the front counter were extremely FRIENDLY. (They were not the owners.) The shoppe was CLEAN & ORGANIZED. I found only one dealer who did not have prices on all of his/her merchandise. Upon entering, be prepared to put purses & bags in a secure locker-- standard policy for most Florida antique shoppes to avoid breakage & theft. As w/ all antique malls, ALL SALES ARE FINAL. The after-Christmas sales throughout the mall offered savings up to 50% off. At this time, the mall has a vendor or two who crochet (well) & are offering their creations @ extremely low prices, so if that's of interest to you, you may want to stop in. (To prevent heat damage to my wood dining room table, I bought new, thick crocheted trivets for $2 & $3 each-- excellent handiwork, which I photographed.) This is not a large antique mall & it's not a mall where you'll find a lot of furniture. Mid-century decor & wares, as well as quality vintage jewelry, were also in short supply upon my visit. But what is within the walls of this mall is priced well. Always request a 20% discount on any one item marked $25+ ---most Florida antique malls will award a minimum of 10% off purchases of that amount. However, some items were marked "firm," & some vendors do not participate in discounts. These 48 vendors are small business men & women. Please come out to support them. I'm guessing you'll enjoy the nostalgia, as well as the friendliness of those @ the front counter. I guarantee you'll like the prices. I'LL DEFINITELY RETURN the next time I'm in the area:)
