first time here, the receptionist was really rude and passive agressive, she had no people skills…read moreand had no way of speaking to people. based on speaking to her she made me feel as if i didnt know what i was doing there, and for the the reccord i have alot of tattoos. and so treating me as if i had no sense. meanwhile the manager was not helpful at all and was very short with me and did not provide me any creative advice for the tattoo i was considering, on the other hand he was extremely impatient. i knew when i first walked into the studio, that the vibes and the energy was not welcoming or inviting. i had then got my tattoo drawn after discussing exactily what i wanted, more than a few times , i was very specific and i explained this tattoo was personal to me, so in the middle of the tattoo session i noticed he changed a large portion of the line work, i hadnt noticed becasue i was watching a movie on my phone, so i finally look to check and i ask "why did you change the tattoo, we didnt discuss this." he then said "i thought it would look better" i was hurt inside almost defeated. i had given up on the session and once i told the receptionist she still insisted i pay the full price of 280 euros otherwise she would call the cops. i was appalled and confused as to why this all happened. i try not to be regretful, but i will say i wish i would have went with my gut on comming to this place. becasue it wasnt just a horrible experince. i didnt feel like my body or image , and even client respect mattered to the whole staff. i hope no body makes the same mistake of running into a horrible experience and even getting a unpredictable tattoo.

After some pretty thorough research because we both wanted fine line work done, we decided on Bläckfisk. This was both of our first tattoos and we couldn't have been better taken care of. Our good friend at the front (long hair and glasses, sorry I can't remember your name!) told us absolutely everything we needed to know before and after in terms of how it was all going to work, after-care, how it would feel during, etc. Our actual artist, Nestor, was awesome! Professional and did an incredible job. Mine was simple (just 3 lines) but I am admittedly particular and wanted it perfect. My friends was a bit more detailed and he expertly handled doing fine details on quite a small tattoo. Both of us are so so happy with the results and wish we lived closer so we could go back for more! P.S we were both a little nervous about being perceived as "basic American girls" but felt very comfortable and accepted here :)

Maria was fantastic and whipped out a palm-sized tattoo with color in just a couple of hours. The prices are great compared to the artist I use in the U.S. I'm so glad I decided to be spontaneous and now I have a great Berlin memory to take with me always.

I felt very comfortable and the actual piercing was so quick and easy! I was in and out in less than 30 mins. The prices are totally reasonable too- €60 for the piercing + €20 to upgrade the jewelry (optional). Additionally, they were patient and happy to speak English which made me feel even more at ease. The shop is clean and cozy, the vibe is very laid back, and everyone is friendly.
