Professional staff did intake, questions, BP/temp etc, and swabbed my throat. She was friendly, efficient, professional and caring. The APRN, Stephanie, came in ,examined me, ordered more tests and talked with me about symptoms. All of this was in the first 20 minutes or less I was there. I found every staff person to be professional, knowledgeable, kind, and caring. There was no rushing me. They took their time to assess my health status. They discussed treatment with me and proceeded to order medication. I was probably there less than an hour and some of that was just waiting for test results. If you want good quality urgent care this is the place to go. I know I will return there if I need an urgent care.

Your experience sounds terrible; understand your frustration. You realize this was a system automated error with the massive migration effort that took place with the office relocation. It happened to me too. You can't really believe you have no responsibility for maintaining your own family medical records. These reviews have a very real consequence to the success of a small business, and I'm willing to bet Pine Lake Health has lost exponentially more than their $30 mistake. They've been punished long enough now since the review was posted, and I hope you decide to work this out with them and revise your rating. Doctor Glenn has been caring for me since 2015. He and their team are as nice as the come, and they deserve a balanced opinion.

Instead, she focused on asking me questions regarding my diet and what food I generally ate. When I tried to drive the conversation back to my symptoms, she focused only on the weight gain I had discussed, but didn't appear to believe me when I said I couldn't manage to lose weight I had gained last summer. She told me to stop reaching for sandwiches, cut alcohol for a month (I already told her I mostly drink only on the weekends), drink more water, cut carbs and starchy vegetables, and that I'd see some weight loss. She even told me after looking at what I weighed at my visit that I could stand to lose 10 to 15 pounds. I spent more time talking with the nurse, who I felt actually listened to me, rather than the actual doctor. They are running some blood tests, but she told me that she doesn't generally put someone my age (almost 26) on supplements as these things can even out and go away after some time. I was recommended her through my gyno and I will be letting them know my displeasure as well, I am very disappointed and overall felt like I wasted my afternoon. I also had to wait almost 30 minutes after my scheduled time to be called back, and then had to wait for her for some more once I was in an exam room.

My employer had changed our insurance provider so after I went for my yearly physical, I received an out of network bill. My yearly physicals have always been 100 percent covered, so this was unexpected. I was very disappointed that no one in the office informed me that my new insurance would now be out of network when I made my appointment or when I checked in. If I would have known, I would have chosen a different providers office. I also work in healthcare and our office ALWAYS checks patient insurance at the time the appointment is made so there are no surprises. The office manager at Family Health and Wellness was not willing to work with me on my charge unless I was a cash patient at the time of check in and I am told I must pay the full amount. Needless to say, I will not be returning to this office again! Poor patient customer service.
