This is a hidden gem, an old style boozer for Kentish locals, but friendly to polite strangers. The pub has an excellent selection or real ales served direct from the barrel rack behind the bar. The landlords Karen and Dal are very well liked and provide an efficient and professional service and don't put up with nonesense from ill mannered trolls. They often run beer festivals in their spacious beer garden during clement weather.
