It can get quite confusing going around the Shoppesville Arcade in Greenhills because of its grid-like layout and because a lot of the stores kind of blend together, but in getting lost I did find this one store which is not like the others at all.
Good Government is the physical store of Happy Days Manila, which, correct me if I'm wrong here, used to have a stall in the depths of old Glorietta before its renovation. I'm pretty positive that it's them, because I will always remember their "I say 'chukchak,' You say 'chenes'" shirt which I desperately wanted to buy but lost out on from their stock.
Anyway, I could be wrong and it doesn't matter, because Good Government is a revelation of a store in Shoppesville in that they sell cool, funny, and artistic shirts made by Filipino designers. They have a lot of interesting and often hilarious stuff on sale (an "Operation Tuli" shirt and a bag that says "Warning: No Money Inside," hello), and what's more, they're affordable shirts! When I was there they had items on a 10% sale and were selling three for a thousand pesos on shirts, which is a pretty good deal. I really wanted to buy a lot, but I didn't have any money, so I'm coming back for sure. read more
