Nashville is a city known for great food but it wasn't until the last few years that the phenomenon known as "Nashville Hot Chicken" hit the scene and now it's international. Hot Chicken is a Nashville original, fried chicken dish, doused in fiery spices, and served on a bed of white bread with a pickle. And it's served with heat levels ranging from "None" to "What the Cluck" and "Clucking Hot." So of course, why wouldn't there be a sculpture of a kitchen implement on the street?
"Good Eats!" is a sculpture of a whisk and is by artist Wayne Henderson. It is sixteen feet tall and features a bright red handle, doubling as a bike rack. It was produced locally by metal fabricator Bellex of Nolensville. The sculpture was installed in 2015.
