They have a wide array of diner foods such as pancakes, French toast and omelettes. And even fancy brunch choices like eggs Benedict and fish tacos as well. They serve large portions at a fair price. I always have food leftover. I always order their chicken rice soup and disco fries. I recently tried their fish tacos. They were pretty good. Have a customer in the neighborhood and he suggested this diner. First of all its not one of the typical diners in terms of shape for this is a store front. This place has some very healthy items on their menu . I had the Quinoa salad and it came with nuts avocado and cranbberries, it was extremely tasteful. We each got a meal as well as shared the smores pancakes which were out of this world. I would definitely suggest sharing them as they are huge and can be sugary. Easy to take leftovers home though!! First off the waiter took our order without writing it down and messed up, first strike, the pancakes were huge and looked good but were literally the worst pancakes I've ever had, the were so dry and over cooked and super thick,and he didn't even add whipped cream like I asked, he had to take it back to do it, strike 2, then when the eggs came out he gave me home fries when I specifically asked him twice to give me French fries instead, strike three. Good food. Clean place. Why only one star given? The service was the WORST service I've ever had at a restaurant. Yes it was busy on a Saturday morning but the workers didn't even acknowledge my presence. One of the workers pointed at a booth and yelled, "Sit over here." And I brought my own menu because they weren't going to do it for me. Very rude wait staff. They took my order hastily and once I was done stating my order I got an attitude about it. "Thats all you want?" was the reply I got. I had to ask for water 3 times before someone actually brought it. Now I don't think the waitstaff is rude without cause. I think it's poor management who probably treat their employees like sh*t because there is NO way in hell that type of behavior is acceptable. ESPECIALLY in the restaurant business. I used to order from good eats frequently but lately the quality has been hit or miss. The deliveries have been taking longer. The menu is also a little pricey for average food. Came here for the first time today. Since I don't like in Queens and was in the neighborhood for a hair appointment my friend and I and the kids were hungry and this diner was across the street. There was a little bit of a wait since it's brunch time on a Saturday. The food was OK, nothing special but definitely overpriced. We were charged 2.50 for each coffee.
