I went into the store to purchase a meal from cheaters chicken and the staff is usually very attentive and helpful, unfortunately today was not the case. I waited for the clerk to finishing helping the current guest thinking he would greet me in some form or fashion, instead he just walked over to the food, put his gloves on and stood there looking at me. I waited a few seconds before I politely said hello. I gave him my order and he, quite unfriendly responded back asking for my sides. I asked him if I could get a cup of ice water, to which he responded that I could, however didn't mention that there would be an additional charge for it. (Mind you I am happy to pay the additional charge, but it would have been very much appreciated to be informed). Upon the completion of the sale I had to stop him from throwing away my receipt, as he did not offer it to me, I thanked him and left. The sad thing was I felt like a complete burden to the clerk making my experience a very poor one. Though it was a bad experience I treated him with kindness. I hope no one has a bad experience and the clerk will be a one to appreciate his customers in the future. When I arrived home I looked at the portion/size of the chicken tenders, which appear to be quite small. I think good to go is lacking on customer service as well as quality. read more
