Delicious Green tea milk tea with less ice and 50% sugar.
    Fennie W.

Gong Cha is one of my favorite bubble tea spots. The employees are friendly and usually really quick and efficient with my drinks even when it's busy. I love coffee milk tea but they don't quite get it right so I avoid getting that at Gong. However, my recently favorite is the Green Tea Milk Tea with white pearls. SO DELISH. I get it with less ice and 50% sugar. 50% sugar is still pretty sweet but I love it! They also provide a stamp card and stamp it for every drink you order. The 5th drink is 50% off and the 10th drink is free! Another good thing is that there's a Beard Papa right next to it and Beard Papa is amaze balls as well

Everyone knows about gong cha and how good their bubble tea is! Which it was i cannot believe this is only my first time trying it i been missing out ordered milk tea which is basic but had to go with the OG! Delicious not too sweet but not bitter either. Gave a crap ton of pudding, aloe and tapioca bubbles. Best thing in there was the boba it is mushy and not hard whatsoever. Not a fan of the pudding and aloe but i wouldn't have even ordered that normally my bf did. They gave so much that half the large was full of extras lmao. That was $5 w t f thats crazy so worth. They roped him in to get the egg waffle as well plus ice cream he a sucker. Jk haha but it was also very good and like 4-5$ they were running a special. You get that in the city and its like 7-8$. Egg waffle was nice and crispy. Good bite to it and again not overly sweet. Got cookies n cream ice cream and toffee pocky which was an interesting mix. Will be coming back to try other bubble tea!

I have heard people hyping up Gong Cha for their bbtea and finally got the chance to try it with some friends and honestly - it's good but I think it's overhyped. I've tried a handful of bbtea spots like Presotea, The Alley and Chicha, and Gong Cha is more or less the same. We decided to try their Dirty Brown Sugar Milk Tea, Royal Milk Tea, Lemon Aiyu with White Pearl, Mango Green Tea and Caramel Milk Tea. Just like most places, you can choose your sugar and ice levels as well as toppings. While they all tasted pretty good, their taste and quality were quite similar to Presotea or The Alley. Overall, it's still a great spot for drinks, with a great creative drink selection with average prices, and is still worth a try, especially for bbtea lovers!

Location: in the basement of Skyview mall. Drinks: typical Gong Cha drinks. Seating: decent amount of seating. However you could have a difficult time finding a seat on weekends. Ordering: short line to order. Drinks were ready in a few minutes. Overall, a good place to drop by for drinks after a few hours of shopping. They have another bubble tea spot closer to the entrance of the mall but he lines are a lot longer. Also since the spot just opened, they had a buy one get one free promotion. So why not try it.

Their service is ok, not so good no too bad. But the cup design for milk form tea not make any sense. And taste is soso. Not worse $5.xx for it. 1. The cup is seal by plastic ... and the milk form is on top of tea. I can't taste the milkform till it melt. The orh 2. milk form taste nothing. Other store make it taste salty n sweet. This store milk form is totally plain. If you design the tea just mix with melting plain milkform. Why don't you call it milk tea?

Largest assortment of drinks besides bubble tea in flushing. It's right next to bear papa , which smells amazing. The wait is short and the staff are courteous. There is not a lot of seating so you should take it to go n shop

Meh- they need to step up their game. It's average compare to other places. They might be awesome in somewhere else but in New York, average is not enough. Plus the staff here always seem sad(?) The good thing about this particular store is that they are connect with Papa's bread, so it's convenient to grab a cream puff while waiting

This is my first time having Gong Cha. I've heard so many good things about it. I felt like there was nothing really special about it. It seemed like an average bubble tea spot. I ordered the strawberry green tea with aloe jelly from the strawberry series. The drink was fine, a tad bit bitter for most people's preference but I liked it. A promo that this store offers, if you check into the location you can get a free topping (of your choice). Would I come again? Probably.

My fiancé & i were strolling and shopping around skyview. I noticed that this place was new to us. Ofc we both lovee bubble teas and milk teas and anything tea! I went in and it was pretty busy. The cashier took my order and was very helpful when i asked about the sugar percentages in the drinks. The drinks were mad quickly and the line wait was nit long at all I ended up ordering the chocolate mocha milk tea in hot and so did my bf. It was also a buy 2 get one free special, so we got one free! The chocolate mocha drink tasted like the dunkachino from dunkin donuts only much less sweet which is a good thing. Even though the place is small it is adorable and very nice to sit and drink ur tea. They also share the space with another business which makes bread and it smells amazing! I am happy they put gong cha & when i go back to shop ill be sure to purchase another tea

Their signature fresh boba is what makes their bubble tea stand out from the rest--the "bubbles" are made from cassava starch otherwise known as tapioca pearls or balls--soaked then cooked and sweetened in a brown sugar syrup. Here they have a whole wok full of these, and they're super soft, incredibly chewy and bouncy, on the sweeter side compared to some other chains, but not too cloyingly so. Their menu consists of a number of a bubble tea and coffee drinks, mostly with milk though some without, you have an option of regular milk, lactaid milk (+$0.50) or oatmilk (+$1.00). Two sizes regular or large (+$2.00) and add-ins for +$0.50 more of the following: Brown Sugar Boba Strawberry Boba Taro Boba Honey Jelly Herbal Jelly Milk Foam Matcha Shot (+$1.00) I got their regular brown sugar boba and it was a treat! Like I mentioned above, the bubbles are sooo good! Prices are on the higher side $7.99 for a regular size, it made me really miss the days of $3.75 regular-sized drinks! After ordering it took about 7-8 minutes to be ready considering the store was really busy. Note: the brown sugar boba milk tea is where they line the cup with brown sugar syrup in addition to adding boba. Technically their standard boba milk tea is without the additional sugar syrup but since the boba are already cooked in brown sugar, there's no true option of getting unflavored boba without brown sugar. Like most boba stores in NYC, the shop isn't very big, just enough space for a small line to form for ordering and then waiting to pick up drinks. All customers are taking these to go, there's no room or seats to linger.

It leans more dessert than drink, with a really smooth mango flavor, creamy coconut, and those small sago pearls that give it a great texture without feeling too heavy. That said, it is hard to go wrong here. Everything I have tried has been well-balanced and not overly sweet, which keeps me coming back. Everything I've had so far has been delicious, not too sweet, a generous portion, & actually never too long of a wait. Probably the longest was 15 minutes. All the teas in the area are $7.50 - 9 & very Jasmine green tea-focused, but I'm happy with HeyTea (M-lly Tea & Tea Sch-lar were fine. Maybe HeyTea markets their drinks better?) HeyTea drinks have good flavor, quality ingredients, and well-crafted & executed layers. Now I understand why they're so popular & glad I didn't come sooner because my habit would have been even worse. I've had these (less sweet, less ice): (all have a green tea base) - Jasmine Cloud King (the OG) - Jasmine Matcha Cloud King - Crisp Grape Boom (a bit slushy, bits of real red grape) - Mango Coconut Sago (perfect dessert, a traditional Cantonese soup dessert) Like the tiny sago boba instead of the regular size. Coconut square jellies too. No caffeine version available. - Blue Coconut Matcha Cloud Still have to try a Matcha one. The shop is a good size with a lot of waiting room. 1 table & a high counter at the front window. I've seen a small group of professionals either de-briefing or meeting over tea. But the space isn't really conducive for long-term use or work. The staff seem pretty relaxed, most are bilingual, & they seem like seasoned baristas. Proud of what they make. One suggestion /recommendation would be to move the TV screen with the order numbers to a more visible spot. It's currently against the right side wall with an overhang slightly blocking it. Maybe this angle disperses the crowd though?

I walked into a space that immediately feels different from a typical bubble tea shop because coconut is clearly the focus rather than just another menu option. The shop has a clean, bright setup that matches the fresh, tropical vibe of the desserts, and the display makes it easy to see what is available before you even order. The menu revolves around fresh coconut in all kinds of forms, from drinks and puddings to shaved ice and desserts. I started with one of their coconut-based drinks, and what stood out right away was how natural everything tasted. The sweetness felt like it was coming from the ingredients themselves rather than being buried under syrups. The fresh coconut flavor was clean, refreshing, and surprisingly light. Even though many of the drinks are creamy, they never felt heavy, and the coconut water base in some options kept the drinks from becoming cloying. The mango coconut pudding was easily one of the highlights. The combination of ripe mango and coconut worked incredibly well together, with the fruit adding brightness while the coconut pudding provided a smooth, creamy texture. The pudding itself had a delicate consistency that felt somewhere between a dessert and a drink, making it easy to finish quickly. The coconut pudding drinks are worth ordering if it is your first visit because they showcase what makes the shop unique, and the layers of coconut cream and fruit come together in a way that feels thoughtful and well balanced. What I also appreciated was the variety. While coconut is the common thread throughout the menu, there are enough combinations with fruits, taro, and other ingredients that it never feels repetitive. The shaved ice options add a colder, more textured option, and the coconut jelly toppings give you something to chew on between sips. Everything is made fresh to order, which can mean a bit of a wait during busier periods, but the quality makes it understandable. The drinks come out looking as appealing as they taste, and the presentation adds to the overall experience. The staff were friendly and helpful when explaining the menu, especially since some of the items may be unfamiliar if you have never visited a coconut-focused dessert shop before. They took the time to walk through the different options and offered recommendations based on what I was in the mood for. Service felt welcoming, and even when the shop got busy, the team managed the flow without making the experience feel rushed. Good Coconut feels like a refreshing alternative to the standard dessert and bubble tea spots. The ingredients taste fresh, the coconut flavor is genuinely front and center, and the desserts manage to be satisfying without feeling overly sweet. If you enjoy coconut, this is the kind of place that can quickly become a repeat stop, offering a menu that rewards exploration and delivers a clean, refreshing take on coconut-based treats.
