This has been a weekly tradition for our family. We have had Gong Cha probably 20x and I cannot believe I haven't yelped them. Their tapioca, jellies, and drinks are consistently good. Their sizes are perfect and they have never messed up our order. They also have an app with rewards. It's our favorite boba/bubble tea place and we don't live anywhere in the area. They deserve the full 5 stars.

I am someone who is very picky when it comes to milk tea, this place is good! The boba was cooked to perfection and the perfect consistency. My drink was great!

Visited this place 1st time to grab my boba tea. It is located in the lowes complex on 183 N service road . The staff was nice and helpful to help me understand and pick my drink. But the overall taste for my basic boba was good and I would love to try their milk foam drink next time. Also, they have several topping to choose and make your drink. The place was nice and clean with lots of board games, a good place to hang out with friends grab a quick drink and play some board games as well.

I have never had a problem with this place until I ordered boba online & someone decided to write "Susan you can't get star jelly for free..." ? I never wanted anything for free? All I asked was if I can switch the jelly since there was no option on Uber or if I can pay the extra just to add it. The last time I left a note someone kindly did it for me. My thing is if you can't do it that's fine I don't mind but why even write this? I would not have mind paying for anything. My feelings were hurt when reading this & I've had a hard week so sorry that I asked for star jelly instead of crystal boba, I never wanted anything for free.

We were in the neighborhood and wanted boba, so we went to GongCha, what more can we say?! I recommend getting 70% or 50% sweetness, as the milk teas are super sweet (imo). The Earl Grey Milk Tea with the three J's is one of my favorites because I love the texture of herbal jelly, pudding, and boba! I usually don't order the strawberry slush but I wanted to give it a try, but I'm not sure I'm a fan of the strawberry milk that GongCha uses. It was still worth a shot to try!

My friends and I came here for an after dinner treat. Boba drinks were good here.. Taro with boba was yummy. We didn't like how a worker started cleaning a table near us with a strong smelling spray. It was 8:30 and they close at 9:00 but please wait to start cleaning when there are customers in the store. I ordered a Vampire drink to go and asked for one ingredient to be left out and was told they can't change the drinks but offered to make something similar. I didn't get why they couldn't make the drink I wanted minus one ingredient. It was for my Man Crush and he said it was good. Overall, a good experience at Gong Cha.

Gong Cha is your go-to spot for awesome bubble tea. They've got a wide range of flavors, and it's perfect for a laid-back tea fix.

We got the large oolong milk tea here and asked for 70% sweet and less ice. When we got the 70% sweet one, it was way too sweet. It didn't seem like that had lowered the sugar at all. Almost sweeter than many other boba places at 100%. Fortunately, when we let them know how sweet it was they made us another one at 50%. It was definitely less sweet and better than before. The boba was a little soft and overall the tea was okay. I appreciate them making the extra effort and offering to remake the drink though.

Let me tell you all about a place named GONG CHA I love it so much that I put it in a SONG CHA If you don't come here, then you drink the WRONG CHA The best Boba place this side of Hong KONG CHA It's the Boba spot to which Barbie does BELONG CHA And all the boys stare, mouths open, hanging TONGUE CHA Watch her small steps like your grandad watched Neil ARMSTRONG CHA I won't visit the moon til the moon has GONG CHA Students love it more than they love Beer PONG CHA It's so addictive they could put it in a BONG CHA My flagpole makes your bf's look like a little PRONG CHA But I know you'll forgive him if he takes you to GONG CHA Each cup has more balls than a game of PING PONG CHA Take tiny sips in an attempt to PROLONG CHA Hide in the back like you're in the VIETCONG CHA People will do anything to get more GONG CHA If it was a wrestler, it would be STRONG CHA If it was a sexy outfit, it would be a THONG CHA And when it covered up, it would put on a SARONG CHA And if you wanna see someone in heels, go to GONG CHA If you wanna bring it, it's already been BRONG CHA My gf loves the tea more than she loves my DONG CHA And by the way my gf says my dong's really LONG CHA But she'll only stay with me if I take her to GONG CHA Really lovely Gong Cha way up in the NW burbs of Austin - and very quiet. A little bit out of the way but definitely totally awesome. The drinks are really nice, and the service is really nice, and even though I'm not a huge fan of some of the GC drinks, such as their fruit ones, compared to some of the other franchises like the best Sharetea in the world right here in Austin, not far from here, I do think this is a really nice one with good employees and good products, and a really nice place to hang out. It's a shame that it's not more busy but hopefully one day it will be. The one at Dobie Mall is crazy busy, but I have a softer spot for this location. Maybe it's a soft spot in my bubble waffle. What to get: Dirty Brown Sugar Milk Tea, Strawberry Milk Tea, Regular Milk Tea, Waffle w/Boba. What not to get: Caught on camera ordering only wearing a Thong Cha. As I said on my other GCA review, Gong Cha is one of the best chains there is, especially if they have some of their standout items such as the Dirty Brown Sugar Milk Tea on their new Dirty menu, and I also recommend the surprisingly excellent Strawberry Milk Tea, or the regular Milk Tea. Certainly the milk teas are the highlight for me, and these three are exemplary. Their bubble waffles are also some of the best around, especially when they make them right, not overdone, moist, and piping hot... and with the tapioca inside! And I may not have the thickest... but it's exceptionally Long Cha.

Great tasting teas and snacks. Great service all the time. They also take your phone number so you can earn points and rewards. There are a whole lot of boba places in Austin and surrounding areas that are not good. Their drinks are not as flavorful and usually hit or miss depending on who makes your drink. best part about Gong Cha is that their service and quality of the drinks seem to be the same each visit, whether we get it at a discount (they run specials on some days) or a regular rate. That's something I can get behind! Good job, Gong Cha staff!

Unfortunately our experience at this place was terrible. The guy employee that was taking our order had a bad attitude and just seems like he didn't want to be there. He was unhelpful when I ask questions about the drinks and was just rush answering without answering. The customer service is seriously lacking and unfortunately it made our experience really bad where we will never return here again. Boba madness: 3/5 nothing special but ok Cantaloupe: 1/5 milky and artificial taste. Do I recommend this place? No. Terrible customer service and the drinks are not good.

The friendly staff provides fast, welcoming service in a cozy atmosphere. I am a member of their rewards program where I earn points and enjoy discounts on your favorite drinks. My go-to drink is the 44 oz White Peach Oolong Tea and I add peach flavoring. I don't usually add boba. Always refreshingly sweet and hits the spot.

We made the drive up north to try it before they close since they carry some Vietnamese snacks that are hard to find in Austin. Their menu is extensive covering drinks, desserts, and snacks so it took us a while to decide on our order. All their drinks are lactose free which was great to hear. The staff was nice but it did take a while for everything to come out. Peppermint Pandan Latte / Sam Dua Bac Ha ($6.95) + Crystal Boba ($0.95): We got this at 75% sweet and it was delicious. You can distinctly taste both the peppermint and pandan and it was really refreshing. Matcha Lover ($8.75): We got this at 75% sweet as well. It is a matcha latte with matcha foam, matcha pudding, and matcha mochi. We were not huge fans of this one. The foam was really thick and creamy which made it hard to mix, and the drink had a strange taste that we think came from the flour on the matcha mochi. I think it would have been better if we had eaten the mochi off the top first before mixing everything together. Popcorn Chicken ($8.75): This was okay. They used a different type of batter than what I am used to and it was pretty bland. I didn't like the chili dipping sauce either. Taiwanese popcorn chicken is still way better to me. Mixed Soft Rice Paper With Full Topping / BT Phoi Suong Full Topping ($14): This was our first time having banh trang tron with dried meat and seafood toppings. It also came with a sliced hard boiled egg instead of quail eggs. Very interesting and different. I really wished it came with tamarind sauce because that was the one flavor I felt was missing and would have tied everything together. The portion size also felt a bit small for the price.

I went for their Lychee Green Tea and P2 ordered their Uber Smoothie. It didn't take too long for our drinks to come out, around 5-7 minutes. We were seated on some comfy chairs, and the bobarista served our drinks to us. I think presentation-wise, they did a good job. They claim to have "beverage aesthetics" and I tend to agree. Does having good "beverage aesthetics" make a drink taste better? No, definitely not. We both thought our drinks weren't too bad, however. I had ordered my drink with 0% sugar but I added boba to mine. My drink also already came with lychee coconut, so the two toppings sweetened my drink naturally. P2 complained that her drink was still too sweet for her liking. We appreciated the service and the pleasant ambience inside. I took off a star because the drinks were just too expensive. Without a coupon, I don't think we would come back here with drinks costing $7-8 each!
