I'd recommend you stick to the more Turkish-y sounding things as these tend to be rather delicious. The pan-fried chicken was goooorgeous. The crockery is worth mentioning, it's quite lovely, and you can even buy it, if you're particularly taken by it. The Love Boat is slightly more expensive than some of the other restaurants in Icmeler, and you can tell many people come here to try 'the best restaurant in the area', and I'm sure they're not disappointed. The restaurant was quiet at 3pm on a Wednesday but it is beautiful and spacious. Food was surprisingly delicious. We had mezze, salad, bread, etc. and it was all really tasty. The bill was a bit confusing. I think we were charged for more than what we ordered, and I see that others have had this issue too. But we decided not to stress about it and paid it. This restaurant's speciality is fish but half of the courses haven't a price written on the menu, we asked for the price before setting on table, and the owner said clearly that it depends on the fish arrival, that today it was 1000₺ / Kg, this is why no price is written. We had our lunch, the owner was pushing for consuming more and more, bringing bread and water bottles we didn't ask for. End of meal, the bill comes and TADA! The price of the fish was now 3000₺ / Kg! of course, we contested the price. The owner said that he never said 1000₺, that the bill was generated automatically and now we have to pay. He then brought a small placard with 3000₺ written on it, TADA! second magic trick, why this placard was hided all along? And why these prices are different from the ones that are announced at the beginning? This restaurant's business is based on scaming tourists, making them pay 3 times the price. They don't care of your negative experience, chances are that you won't come back to this city anyway. Most of the 5stars reviews are bots. And if you have children, please, bring them here. There are so many smokers, that they can easily learn as well.
