She is a family practice doctor. Her Technician Lisa is fantastic, thorough and pleasant. The reception staff are wonderful. We contacted Dr. Aldelmans office to get her correct prescriptions before we left for Austin. We were left in the waiting room for two hours before his wife came out to let us know they were NOT going to help us with her prescription. Then we returned two days later to try to get a precription for home health for my mom while in Austin. Again a two hour wait in the office for the prescription. My mother needed blood pressure medication over the Thanksgiving weekend. I tried to call the office several times. I was told each time that someone would at least call me back. This never happened. On Monday I called the office to let them know that I needed these prescriptions. I spoke with someone claiming to be the office manager. She was EXTREMELY rude and VERY Unprofessional. Being in the healthcare field for the past 20 years I am accutely aware of poor bedisde manner. This was the worst I have ever encountered. She was insulting and disrespectiful. Andrea then stated I could go sit down and she wound call me when she was ready for me. She seemed to be condescending. While waiting she ask if I knew I owed $80 ish dollars. It was not clarified they my charge for that day was what she was referring to. I responded No! She then stated since I signed in on echart I should have known. I had no clue what she was taking about. She acted as if I wasn't or didn't Gabe the money to pay for the visit. Had She said, your balance today is... I just found her to be a bit rude. I also experienced some concerns around discharge timing while I was still dealing with significant pain, weakness, dizziness, and fluctuating blood pressure, though I ultimately stayed longer due to a heart-related issue. One small note: food delivery was often delayed, so ordering ahead may help. Overall, the standout staff I mentioned above truly made a difference in my experience, and I'm very grateful for the care they provided.

Just received a bill via email/my chart for a procedure that yet to be performed in the amount of…read moreover $450. The procedure is not to take place for another couple of days and yet the hospital is requesting payment. I have a long history with the group and have always paid any remaining balance due after my insurance provider has paid. No late payment at any time. This really pissed me off to the point I cancelled the procedure and have requested my primary care provider to send a referral to a doctor within the UT Health East Texas group. This is pure greed. Senior management is dictating this approach, which means they are more interested in the dollar than the person health. I am done with this healthcare provider unless I am unconscious and cannot direct my medical needs to UT, I hope they go bankrupt.
