They are located on Concord Road, in between the Old Concord and Hurt Road intersections. I made the mistake of pulling in to their sister WellStar building next door, so be on the lookout for the brick buildings for this location! Parking at this location is limited in the front, but has a bit more around the back and if that is full, you can always hit the lot I just mentioned, as both locations are WellStar. Check-in was fairly simple. They had table at the front for the initial check in and temp check and then from there you sat until you were called to the main counter to fill out paperwork and such. Once that was done, it was the normal of waiting to be called back. Once I got called, I spent a bit of time with the nurse, who was delightful and helpful. She popped back in a few times to apologize for the wait on the Dr. and to keep me updated on my place in line. The Dr. himself was very friendly and thorough during our time together. Overall, it was a basic doctor office visit for me. Nothing to rave about, but also nothing to talk smack about. If in need in the future, I would have no issues pulling back up to this WellStar location.

Dr Barlett has been my primary although today she was not available so I saw Dr Siddiqi. Loved her too! She was very thorough and informative! I felt much better when I left! They have a group in there and typically put their heads together to ensure good service and extra eyes on things. I had a bit of a frustrating experience maneuvering the bureaucracy when trying to ascertain prices but in the end the Doctor referred me to the office manager who was so helpful I am willing to forego that isolated incident. I was caffeine deprived and they gave me a cup of coffee after bloodwork so it helped! I definitely miss my OCD but thorough Dr from Florida. In GA I haven't found anyone with their own practice everyone seems tied to Piedmont or WellStar. Good info to know is Wellstar is non profit so they will work with you on payments etc or some Bill forgiveness. There is a medical assistant named TEA whose positive energy really helped me a lot today! Love caring positive people like her and the Doctors!!! Definitely recommend!

They give you a 10 minute window for tardiness for appointments. Not really sure what happens after you are late though. When it's close to time for your appointment they give you a reminder call or two a couple of days before. Their office takes just about every insurance type. I can attest to this as I have changed providers over the years through my jobs. They do a lot of their labs onsite. They also do allergy testing and stress tests on site as well which is quite convenient. If there's something their office can't do they usually typically recommend pretty good doctors to go to. I foresee myself continuing to go to Dr. Kim for a long time. His entire office is nice and it's always the same people there so that must also be a good sign that people working there are happy as there is no turn over. I've built relationships and rapport with the entire office staff and they are very kind and patient. The office is clean and parking is also free.

I'm not over 40 either so it was a bit weird hearing that in the doctor's office. I got to hand it to Wellstar Health Systems at this location. They have a funny, down-to-earth nurse practitioner. He is a gruffy looking good old boy. It's weird he's a nurse. He looks like he should be hunting some 10 pointers or something. The doctor that saw me was pretty nice and fun too. She got really excited when she saw my infection. She wanted to take a pic of it with her iPhone. I've seen other doctors here, and they were all friendly and seemed to know what they were doing. Like other urgent care centers, you would need to wait a long time to be called in. I mean what is this? We don't have socialized healthcare, yet I still have to wait 1 hour to see the doctor? I might as well move to Soviet Canada. On top of that, I have to pay my $75 copay. Sheesh. Well, that's more of a critique of my insurance, not Wellstar. One trick is to come first thing in the morning. When I was the first patient in the door for the day, I was seen pretty fast. Other times, when I came in during the middle of the day, I had to wait a long time. Other than that, if I have something that needs to be taken care of urgently, this is my go to urgent care place.

In the middle of my attack, the receptionist came in demanding my credit card and ID (twice!). I clearly couldn't breathe or speak as I was literally receiving breathing treatments. Even the emt and nurse looked at her like she was crazy like "this girl can't breathe, cop on a bit??". I'm aware your corporate team is probably enforcing this to be part of your job duties, but come on. Have some human awareness of when to apply this. A few days later, I receive an email saying that an outrageous amount of money will be debited from my card for this visit. A sickening amount - for an asthma attack. Whatever number you're thinking, it's worse. So my next step is to call my insurance company, who advises me the CPT code they used for just being seen appears to be incorrect. They provided me with the correct CPT code. And Peachtree Immediate Care, if you're reading this. Please understand how disgusting you are for charging that much just to be seen. Second step is to call the billing department at Peachtree immediate. Tanya advises me that that CPT code they used for this is the only available CPT code for members on my insurance policy (of course, it's the highest one). She says she'll submit a code review and get back to me. A week later, still no follow up. Still no calls or emails. So I reach back out. Now I'm being told "oh our CPT codes don't go based off of time seen". (They don't use codes for amount of time seen, yet somehow they only utilize the code for the highest amount of time seen? - meaning it appears they're choosing to charge people the highest amount and refusing to use other CPT codes). So what do I stupidly do? I agree to set up a payment plan. - for an asthma attack that should no where cost that much. Again, Peachtree immediate. You are sickening. End of the month comes. I make my first payment. A few days later, they took the full payment out of my account!!! So I call their billing team AGAIN. Their off shore agents confirm this payment shouldn't have been taken and confirmed my payment plan. So they reverse the transaction. So now what? Well, now I cannot afford my bills because I have to wait 5 business days for my money to be refunded. Funny part is, their off shore representatives come from countries with healthcare. I realise my biggest mistake was seeking health care here. It would have been much easier to let the asthma attack do its thing to me. Peachtree immediate care has caused me such mental and financial distress.
