I received photos and videos, including drone shots, throughout the day as they replaced my roof. They showed me close up shots of all the replaced vents, flashing and caulking when done! Their clean-up was impeccable, not one shred of trash was found!!! I am so impressed & will recommend them to all my friends!!!

I reached out for a quote for roof and wall repairs on Thursday night. Jose came by Friday…read moreafternoon and provided a quote same day. He said he can start the roof repairs that day and come back for the indoor wall repairs on Monday. This was perfect since it was supposed to rain later that night and the next day. He was able to get workers there quickly, and they replaced faulty/missing external vents that allowed water to drain in my house leading to wall damage. He provided before and after pictures as well as a birds-eye view pictures of the roof which was nice to have. The repairs came with 2 year warranties. On Monday, he had a worker come by and begin repairing the drywall. They repaired the damaged wall, bought paint to match the wall, texturized it, sanded, and added two coats of paint, and dried everything all in the same day. As a plus, they let me keep the remaining paint. Some nice touches that were appreciative, they always wore shoe covers and never wore shoes inside. They were cognizant of cleaning up any mess that was created from the work being performed. Even going as far as cleaning the attic to clean up anything that dropped during the roof repairs. They also vacuumed through the entire path that they walked as they left. One final thing that was surprising, as Jose left, he noticed our gate didn't completely close. He let me know he could fix it, 5 minutes later, it works again. The attention to detail from Jose and his team were great.

CONTRACTOR WARNING -- HOUSTON / ORANGE / SAM RAYBURN AREA…read more I'm sharing my experience with Ralph Valenciano of Quality Roofing and Construction LLC for anyone considering hiring him for residential or commercial work. I normally would never bring something like this to social media, but I believe people deserve the opportunity to do their research before handing over thousands of dollars. I'm also sharing this in case anyone else has had a similar experience and has information they would like to provide as I document everything for a case with Harris County. Here is exactly what happened to me. We met Ralph through a friend in April. Over the following months, we golfed together several times, met for drinks, and genuinely considered him a friend. In August, my laundry room flooded and had to be completely redone. After seeing a video I posted of the damage, Ralph reached out and offered to help. I already have contractors I know and trust, but Ralph strongly encouraged me to let his company handle the project. He showed me photos of previous work that gave me confidence he could deliver the laundry room I wanted. The scope included new drywall, baseboards, flooring and custom cabinetry. His quote was approximately $7,954, with a 50% deposit of roughly $4,000. I initially asked to pay by American Express. He sent me a Square payment link, I paid it, and within days the transaction was refunded. Ralph told me there was an issue with the tax information connected to his merchant account and asked me to pay by check instead. On August 27, I gave him the check. Shortly afterward, my credit union called asking me to confirm the transaction because Ralph was physically at the bank attempting to cash the check. That should have been my first major warning. I was originally told the project would begin within days and be completed approximately one week later. That did not happen. Week after week, there were delays and explanations. Ralph continued sending me drawings, sketches and ideas for the laundry room, but the promised work was not being completed. Meanwhile, my laundry room had been demolished down to the walls and floors and was left that way. On September 15, Ralph finally returned and told me the entire project would be completed within two days. He arrived approximately two hours late with cabinet bases -- but no cabinet faces, no drawers, no tile and none of the other materials necessary to complete the job. He performed drywall work that day, left after a few hours, and told me he would return early the following morning and finish everything. He was supposed to arrive at 9:00 a.m. He never showed. After I spent most of the day waiting and was unable to reach him, he finally called around 3:00 p.m. and told me he had run into "logistical issues." At that point, I started researching. I began looking through public records, company information and reviews associated with him and his businesses. What I found concerned me enough that I no longer felt comfortable allowing him to continue working in my home. On September 16, I requested my money back. He has refused to refund my deposit and is now claiming that I owe him an additional $527. The photos attached to this post show the condition my laundry room was left in and the work that had been performed when I requested my money back. I paid approximately $4,000. I do not have a completed laundry room. I do not have completed cabinetry. I do not have my flooring installed. I do not have the finished project I contracted and paid for. Instead, I have a demolished laundry room and a dispute over my deposit. Please learn from my experience: research anyone you hire BEFORE handing over a large deposit -- even when that person was introduced through someone you trust or you consider them a friend. If you have personally hired or done business with Ralph Valenciano or Quality Roofing and Construction LLC and had a similar experience, please message me. I am documenting everything and would like to hear directly from anyone with firsthand information. Receipts, invoices, messages, photos and the current condition of my laundry room are attached. Please share this so someone else has the opportunity to do the research I wish I had done before handing over my money.

The owner Carlos himself came out to inspect the house and we were extremely impressed with his professionalism from start to finish: - Detailed quotes breaking down the proposed scope, materials and costs - Arrived on time daily; diligent workers - Excellent quality of execution; work was very tight, clean and exactly as hoped for - Meticulous: cleaned up the job site every day before leaving; an absolute must-do for any crew working with nails - Constant communication about progress of work In this time of COVID, a lot of people are concerned about worker safety. The owner Mr. Ramirez was the only person to enter the house when he performed the initial evaluation and he wore a mask and disposable booties. The crew was able to access everything they needed from outside but we still saw them wearing masks. We recommend them without reservation!

All of the work done was excellent and it was finished in a very timely manner with great communication throughout. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing work done in the Houston area.

I am absolutely, 200% delighted and satisfied with the professionalism and quality workmanship…read more An established, local Houston family owned business, one of the three Gudino brothers, Eduardo, came out promptly to inspect the job, & emailed me a detailed written estimate within days and started the work on the next good sunny day. The main crack had turned into a fissure due to the TX 2019 Freeze. You now would never know it even existed, the work is so excellent, it is invisible and you would have to know it was there to even see it--if at all. The work is pure artistry. I also did not realize how many hairline cracks had to occur and I am so glad they were caught in time before they were big also. This is a 2 story residence with brick on 3 sides. The original masons failed to make an expansion joint! That also is invisible. Eduardo was there every minute overseeing the work done. The workman were neat, clean and came early in the morning to get the job done all in one day with the most minimum of intrusion. Everything was done to perfection. They are true artists. There can be no better in the business. I clearly will not hesitate to trust and recommend Los Tres Gudinos --200% completely satisfied and then some for their work, their professionalism and the pride they take in delivering perfection and excellent customer service. Thank you so much, Eduardo Gudino and everyone at Los Tres Gudinos.

JT Building and Renovations

JT Building and Renovations

I would advise, in the strongest language possible, against ever hiring JT Renovations. Our…read moreexperience has been extremely disappointing and costly. We had a very complex renovation with many steps, so we asked a lot of questions beforehand to make sure that the scope of the project was understood. Benny was extremely attentive at that time, touted his vast experience, and said he had his own dedicated crew who could complete the project in just a few weeks. Fast forward, and it is apparent he has either lied about many things or is just in way over his head as a contractor. The project dragged on for months with endless delays, excuses, and no clear timelines. The crew was constantly changing, unreliable, and often didn't show up at all. The work that was done was inconsistent, had to be redone on many occasions, and left unfinished at the end of the day. At the beginning, however, he worked very fast in order to extract more of the payments from us. Once we realized that, after materials we had purchased, we had paid the full amount of the project already but the work was only halfway done, he had completely vanished. Now he will not answer our calls or texts to save his life. Who knows what he is doing meanwhile, this entire year we have been trying to live in a house filled with unfinished work and broken promises. It has been so stressful for us and our kids to have to go through this. To add icing on the cake, he is using the pictures of our renovation without our consent to try and swindle more money out of unsuspecting customers. It is a very low blow and just adds to our suffering. I have kept holding out for the chance that he will do the decent and honest thing and either complete the work or return our last payment to make us whole. We do not have the budget to complete the work for now and will have to keep suffering. But it is apparent he is not honest in his dealings and I feel so gullible for falling for it. To sum it up, this has been stressful, expensive, and frustrating. I am very upset at the dishonesty and lack of accountability. We were misled and abandoned mid-project instead of dealing with a trustworthy professional. So please avoid this contractor! I would not want anyone else to go through the same expensive and heartbreaking experience.
