One of the finest golf clubs I have played in since arriving in Germany. The course is almost 7km…read morelong and has beautiful views of the Alps from almost every hole and is immaculately maintained. The course Marshall here is also one of the nicest and welcoming guys I have met to date. He was funny, helpful, warm and spoke decent English (which is rare). He let us get on and play and checked up every so often to see if we needed any help. There are some though holes here with water and sand traps and some wide open ones. The grass and the greens are immaculate and make for a fabulous game experience. Good weather just tops it all off :-) The club house lounge is nice with plenty of outdoor seating and they serve quite an extensive range of food options and the taste and flavour is also really good. This is a member only course so unless you go with a member or part of an event you can't play here. It's not cheap but well worth the money in my opinion :-) happily come back here anyday :-)

Corvara golf club or by it's proper name, Golf Club Alta Badia is allegedly Europe's second highest…read moregolf course (I don't who which is the highest) and occupies an enviable spot above the village of Corvara with one of the most impressive backdrops on a golf course anywhere. The course itself is a 9 hole course and well maintained. It is open throughout the summer to members and non-members and the holes are challenging with spectacular scenery. It isn't cheap and last time I played it cost about EUR45 euros for 9 holes but it is worth doing as a one off just for the views and the feeling of playing golf somewhere completely different. Watch out for the 8th hole though which is a par 3 from an isolated tee off across a ravine to the green, oh and for that matter the 9th hole as well which tends to drag your ball into the nearby lake.
